Week in Review...Sept 30, 2018

Ashlyn has become my little baker. Every Sunday she wants to make a new treat...

Haley with her friends...
Abby in her Elsa costume...
Haley took a pic with the Laurels in our ward...

We got Ricks car back on Monday, and they let us know that it would need new tires, new brakes and a new radiator:) That's the best news after you spend a lot of money on a fix, haha. But we are grateful to have it back and running again.

Abby had a rash on Wednesday night and by Thursday morning it finally clicked in my brain that she had hives and that she'd had hives the last time that she had been on Amoxicillin. So I took her to the dr and they wanted to give her a steroid to drink, but she didn't want to drink it and opted for the shot. The steroid shot is a tough shot and she was so upset. She refused to cry in the dr.'s office though, because that would bring attention to her. As soon as we got out of the office, she burst into tears. Poor girl! The dr's office gave her a coupon for a free cookie at a bakery a couple doors down, and they have humongous cookies so that helped to cheer her up. I now have 2 kids that are allergic to penicillin meds, as well as Rick. She still had an ear infection, so we got a new med to finish her up.
