4th of July!

I made some sourdough donuts for the family, they turned out pretty good!

Abby wanted this Argentine soccer ball from the store, go Messi!

We have been dog sitting the sweetest girl; she's a mini Rusty. She's so cute!!-

Even Rick likes her!

We have also been watching our neighbors chickens!

Jacob and Abby are really good with the chickens...

We finished a puzzle, yay!

My cute Mom this morning! She's doing much better!

Ashlyn is also dog sitting at a house across town, but she was able to come and do some sparklers with us and have a 4th of July barbecue!

Jacob did his cardiac MRI on Tuesday; it took them 2 hours to call him back, and then it was a 2-hour MRI. Poor guy was exhausted afterwards because he had to do a lot of holding his breath during the 2 hours. We got sent a report that basically says that his MRI was normal and didn't show any myocarditis or pericarditis, which is great, but why is he still having lots of chest pain? His follow-up was supposed to be on the 7th, but the doctor had to push it back, so we are on a cancellation list to get in sooner.

I also made hamburger buns out of sourdough!

Our stake went from 7 wards down to 6 to balance out the youth in our stake . Our ward was the only ward untouched except for a name change, we are now the Adobe hills ward.

Week in review

This week I’ve been working on Jacob’s quilt. It’s turning out pretty cute, I’m excited to see it finished. Jacob loves dogs and the color cyan so he’s loving it.
Yesterday Rick and I were able to go to a Diamondbacks game. They lost impressively with a 16-8 score. It was comedic how terrible they played. It was a reminder that everyone can have a bad day.
I made another sourdough loaf and shared one with our neighbor, it tasted even better!
Abby and I painted some cute rocks this week.
The cute dogs love to watch me work on the quilts.. it’s pretty cute.
My sweet papa and nana, miss them!

It was my beautiful sister Carrie’s wedding anniversary this week! It was also Sarah’s birthday, but I was in the ER with Ashlyn who had terrible pain in her lower belly. They suspect it’s from endometriosis but we are going to follow up with some different doctors.
We finally got our civic back from when it was hit back in February, State Farm sucks by the way. As I was driving it home this dust storm decided to roll in…

We are hoping for a pain free week🙏🙏🙏

Today is Fathers Day and I’m so grateful for my sweet Dad. He gives great advice, lots of encouragement and tells great stories. He’s the best! I’m also so grateful for my husband who is a great father to our kids and a great husband.
