Week in review

This week I’ve been working on Jacob’s quilt. It’s turning out pretty cute, I’m excited to see it finished. Jacob loves dogs and the color cyan so he’s loving it.
Yesterday Rick and I were able to go to a Diamondbacks game. They lost impressively with a 16-8 score. It was comedic how terrible they played. It was a reminder that everyone can have a bad day.
I made another sourdough loaf and shared one with our neighbor, it tasted even better!
Abby and I painted some cute rocks this week.
The cute dogs love to watch me work on the quilts.. it’s pretty cute.
My sweet papa and nana, miss them!

It was my beautiful sister Carrie’s wedding anniversary this week! It was also Sarah’s birthday, but I was in the ER with Ashlyn who had terrible pain in her lower belly. They suspect it’s from endometriosis but we are going to follow up with some different doctors.
We finally got our civic back from when it was hit back in February, State Farm sucks by the way. As I was driving it home this dust storm decided to roll in…

We are hoping for a pain free week🙏🙏🙏

Today is Fathers Day and I’m so grateful for my sweet Dad. He gives great advice, lots of encouragement and tells great stories. He’s the best! I’m also so grateful for my husband who is a great father to our kids and a great husband.

Week in Review…

I've been working on Ashlyn's quilt for the last few weeks. I finally finished it today! It turned out so cute!

Now I've finished 2 quilts this summer! Now I'm going to start on Jacob's...

I also started a sourdough starter and was able to bake my first 2 loaves yesterday! I made a no-salt version so that Jacob can eat as much as he wants, and he's loving it!
I also got to go visit our neighbor's brand new baby across the street, he's so cute and so tiny!
I got to watch Cameron graduate high school! Way to go Cameron!
My first loaf!

This was when I started tying the quilt...

This cute memory popped up of Haley and Ashlyn, so cute!

We got our house painted this week!
This was the before...

Jacob was able to get his MRI moved up to June 30th, and his follow-up will be on July 7th. Hopefully, we can get more answers at that time.

Weeks in Review

Last week we had a yummy watermelon....

I've been going to lots of antique stores and seeing lots of fun things...it's my favorite pastime.

Sweet Audree moved to Utah. She's so brave, and I'm so proud of her!

I made a quilt for Abby, my first time all by myself! I hand-tied it! It's so cute! Now, I'm making one for Ashlyn.

A fun memory popped up from lots of years ago from the last day of school, our kids have grown up in the best neighborhood!

Rick's parents finished their visit with a walk at sunset...

I went to visit my friend, and Jacob drew this cute picture for Abby when she woke up...it reminds me of Dad's pictures from sacrament, I guess the gene got passed to him....

Our neighbor across the street had her 5th baby, and she decided to have him at home. He's so cute!!

I've learned how to make friendship bracelets, so I made one for Abby and Ashlyn....

I found this cute vase at goodwill!

Abby had a play date with a friend and saw the movie, Michael....

Abby and the quilt that I made for her...

Jacob has been going stir crazy because he can't do much, and he gets bored really quickly. He's alternated between practicing the piano, the guitar, watching TV, drawing, etc. I found this pinball kit at Goodwill, it was brand new. He put it together; it was quite the feat!

Rick and I went to a Diamondbacks game yesterday, and it was fun even though they lost. We had great seats in row 21! We could see their faces! We were able to get a teacher discount for the tix.

If you look closely behind us you can see the swimming pool that's in the stadium! So cool, right?!

Our cute neighbor's baby, brand new!

Cute Anna had a birthday and spent it in Yellowstone!

It was a good week, hopefully we can keep Jacob busy and he can continue to heal.
