Formal dinner...

Abby and I both gave talks in sacrament today. It was Abby's first time, and she was really nervous. I was surprised that she said yes to speaking. As soon as she was done, she started crying. It had been a lot for her to get through. I was so proud of her. I knew how hard this would be, but she did it! She got lots of love from our ward after the sacrament. We both spoke about The family, a proclamation to the world. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to talk. I wasn't feeling very good, but I was able to take lots of vitamins and get feeling better just in time. Sweet Sarah sent me dinner on Saturday and that was so kind of her!

We also found out that Rick's parents are moving across the street from Becca and Sarah, they're building a house and will move in the summer. to Rexburg Idaho. We are pretty bummed they didn't pick Arizona, but also not surprised.  I guess our summers in California are over, so sad! It will be good to visit with lots of family when we go to Idaho though.



 

Week in Review...

Ashlyn is at a YSA conference today, she's having fun and learning a lot!

Abby got braces on on Friday! She was so excited to get them on, and now she's begging to have them taken off. She's in a lot of pain and can't eat anything. Poor girl! She only got the top put on to help with closing something up, so in about 8 weeks, she'll get the bottom row put on. She's not very excited about getting more added to her pain. Hopefully she starts feeling better soon...poor girl!

I'm obsessed with antiquing; if I could spend all of my free time in an antique mall, I would. I bought this cute Pyrex dish on Monday and made a chicken pot pie in it. It was extra special because it was in a pretty dish!

Back to school....

Ashlyn was cleaning her room and found some fun pics!

I've been making some crafts for my team at school. This year has been extra stressful and I needed an outlet, this has helped me so much! I have loved creating these!

I've started making these for gifts for my primaty kids when they get baptized....

Jacob had an MRI to make sure that there wasn't anything structural in his ear, making him hearing impaired. His MRI came back normal, so now he gets fitted for hearing aids at the end of the month. Abby also gets her braces at the end of the month; it's a big month for us. We are excited for Jacob to be able to hear better.
