Week in Review...August 26th, 2018

Last Saturday Haley, Ashlyn and I went to the Gilbert Temple for Family Temple Day. Rick stayed home with Abby and Jacob and our neighbor Ella, whose parents went to the temple too. I did initiatories for family names and Haley and Ashlyn did baptisms for their family names. The baptistry was so crowded that we waited 2 hours just for them to get started, it was a great experience. Haley and Ashlyn were able to be baptized by a priest in our ward, it was neat to see... Abby working at her table with her friends in Kindergarten.

Abby has been missing her preschool best friend Lexi, who goes to a different school for kindergarten so we had her over to play on Monday. It was fun to see them playing again...

She's also starting to play before school starts, which is awesome!

My birthday was on Saturday, I woke up to my Garmin telling me to eat cake!

We went swimming at Skyline pool with Zach, Ethan and Austin. It was fun to get out and swim, we always forget each year that 2 pools are open on the weekends through Sept, so this year we've been taking advantage. We then went to Garcia's because I had a free birthday meal, but they ended up not letting me get the meal for free. I'm not sure if we'll return...even though it was really yummy!

Then we had the Paul's over for cake. Carrie made me this awesome cake, it says Linds! It was a great birthday, I got calls, texts and Facebook posts from almost all of my siblings!

Rick got me sparkler candles, so they were sparking-I tried to hurry them up with the singing...

And baby Lilly slept through the whole thing! What a sweetheart!
