Week in Review...

Last Sunday Abby wore a cute dress that our sweet neighbor Janette gave to her back on her birthday. It was so cute!
Rick got to meet one of the students that he enrolled who was graduating on campus. Even though this guy could have received a military discount, he chose to forego the discount in order to work with Rick. (Rick doesn't work with military enrollments). I think that's a huge credit to how great a job Rick is doing at Grand Canyon University! Now if he could just move on from the job, we would be happy! haha! BUT this was a huge highlight for him!
Abby loves to lay down on this huge dog that we have and say, "ah!!!" It's so cute!! Ashlyn sometimes does it with her and it was adorable!
Our pumpkin lady changed back into a man I guess....
Ricks parents wanted to come out for the Phoenix Temple Open House and we thought it would be a fun treat to surprise the kids! They were shocked when they opened the door! It was fun to surprise them:)
The tired but happy travelers!
Grandma Johnson trying to get Abby to warm up to her by playing sock puppet.
The kids came home on halloween with their fun treats and Ashlyn made this cute spider headband, which I ended up wearing that night for trick or treating.
All dressed up and ready to go trick or treating!

We had fun trick or treating while Rick fixed a flat tire that we found on the van:(. Bummer!
Saturday morning we woke up bright and early and set out for the Phoenix Temple. It was gorgeous!! It was very similar to the Gilbert Temple, except that instead of being patterned after the Agave plant like the Gilbert temple, the Phoenix temple has the theme and pattern of the Desert Aloe plant, so lots of dark wood with soft greens. Beautiful!

Haleys friend Alyssa came with us, it was fun to have her!

Abby just wanted to play in the water. Look, she's wearing shoes!!

It was a great time at the temple. We feel very blessed that within the last year our whole family has been able to tour TWO new temples! Pretty cool!

Week in Review...

Last week Jacob looked so handsome!! Of course he took the vest off as soon as we got to church:(
We went for a walk last Sunday night and found this very wide rainbow! Pretty cool!
We were driving by our neighbors house this last week and found this in their garage window! Unfortunately this little terror ruined their blinds and a Christmas present! Traps have been set....
My little sweetie pie!
I got released as the Compassionate Service leader, wahoo!! Just kidding. It was a great calling, I had a lot of support from the ward but I was terrified that I would have to be in charge of a funeral. Luckily, I didn't have to!! I am now an Activity Day leader with Ashlyn!! We took the kids to the Mesa visiting center on Wednesday and the kids watched a couple of videos, I missed out because little Miss Abby couldn't sit still, so we toured the visitors center on our own.
I found these pics from Ricks phone from our beach trip....Ricks mom chilling in the tent.
Brother in law Mike with his son Kody.
Kody boy has the cutest mop of hair!
Haley with her cousin Kaylee, getting ready to boogie board.
Ashlyn and Jacob ready to boogie.

Looking for hermit crabs.
Ricks dad checking out all of the fun.
Rick took this on a walk that he took the kids on, so I could get ready.

We had our annual Halloween Ward carnival last night. It was lots of fun, we invited our neighbors who have a little boy just a few weeks older than Abby. Here's Ashlyn as a cute bee, Jacob as a pirate and Abby as a little dr. Cutest little doc! Haley was too cool to dress up this year.

We added our final accessories and took more pics:)

Ashlyn and Jacob on the train...

They had the cutest photo booth...

Haley was nice enough to take Abby for her first train ride, she loved it!
Here's my friend and I, she's so cute. Her husband has the same job as Rick but he works for the University of Phoenix, so they have lots to talk about.
Haley took her little boy for a ride on the train as well..

Jacobs EPIC school pic.....do you LOVE IT!!!????
