It's been an eventful 2 weeks! We have been having lots of fun!
We did ornaments instead of pj's for Christmas Eve and it was a hit! Ashlyn got a color guard ornament, Abby got a gymnastics girl, Jacob got army boots, Haley and Kevin got a piano and Rick got a Cancun Mexico ornament.
Ashlyn did Emilie's nails and they were so pretty!
Jacob was so excited because he got his braces off! He will get invisalign on after he gets all of his cavities filled!
Ashlyn's car got hit on Wednesday night around 9pm as it was parked in front of our house, it was quite sad! It's been such a good reliable car for us, and we are so sad that it's going to be totalled out!
Haley flew in Thursday night and the Weidmans were leaving for Utah on Friday so they stayed up late to come and say hi to her!
On Friday we went to the train park for our annual train ride, we had fun!
We toured a Pullman train that's on exhibit, it's so cool!
We went to the Mesa Temple lights on Christmas Eve, we got there early so we could see it transform into the night. It was so beautiful!
They had a family take the baby Jesus from a storage case (they take it away during the night) and swaddled him and had them lay him in the manger, it was very cool to see!
Kevin's family does Christmas crackers on Christmas Eve so he brought them for us to try out, we popped them out of their containers and each one had a whistle and a crown. It was a fun new tradition.
Showing off the ornaments on Christmas Eve...
We decorated sugar cookies on Christmas Eve....
Abby got a scooter for Christmas!
It's been a beautiful sunny warm Christmas week! Next week the temps will dip down and we should get rain!
Rusty got a nice groom this week! He looks so fresh and soft!
Cute Abby
Ashlyn and Emilie went ice skating down town, so fun!
Kyler peeping through the sheet that I put up to hide Christmas from peeping eyes...
Rusty is so cute!
He looks like he's so happy!!
We feel very blessed this Christmas season, we have our health, great jobs, and lots of beautiful family members and our faith.
