Bullwhip partially finished...
We had a wonderful fall break, we even had some fall weather come with it! We had an amazing rain storm come through and some cooler temps. It was wonderful!
We got Kyler groomed....
Haley got to go to the Pocatello Open House...
Jacob left early Thursday morning for his mountain man experience, he had a great time. He got to make a spoon out of re-bar, archery, rock climbing, shoot 22 rifles and black powder rifles, ride on a barrel bull ride and lots of other fun things. He came home exhausted and happy. I'm so grateful that he gets these experiences to be with other boys and men, he loves anything to do with the outdoors. We left for San Diego on Thursday, it was weird only traveling with 2 kids. It was awesome! On Thursday night, we had a picnic at the bay and went for a walk. The seagulls make the coolest footprints in the sand....
Going on our walk...
We woke up on Friday thinking we would need to make alternative plans because it was raining, but I decided that it was worth getting a little wet to spend time at the beach. So we went, and it was perfect weather! No rain and a great temperature, we all had fun playing at the beach, boogie boarding, playing frisbee and relaxing.
We went to Balboa park in the afternoon, it was so beautiful! We rode on the train and walked around, Abby and Ash played at the park...
On Monday of fall break, Ashlyn and Jacob were able to be the first group with the rest of the stake to tour the Mesa temple open house. They said it was beautiful! These kids are so lucky!! They've been able to tour so many temples since we moved to Arizona, the Gilbert temple, the Phoenix temple and now the Mesa temple. Before we moved to Arizona, we also toured the Draper temple, they've been so blessed!
Playing in the rain...
It was a successful fall break, now we get to go back to school and work tomorrow. Back to real life!
