Rick started working from home this week, so we set up his little working station in our room. He hasn't complained about us being too loud yet, so hopefully it's working out. We love having him accessible a little more often, and his commute to the kitchen for dinner is quicker. haha!
We are still at home for the coronavirus, so we go for walks everyday. Red Mountain high school has a cow and goat for us to walk by and say hello to. I think the positive side of this pandemic is that we get to be outside all day, when we would usually be cooped up inside at school during the best weather of the year. We are enjoying the sun and perfect weather!
We even get the teenagers out sometimes...
We did a rainbow science experiment this week for Abby's class, she loved it!
We are also doing domino math and trying to get creative with learning.
We drove down to Tempe town lake one day and the kids rode their bikes and walked, it was a beautiful day and the kids loved riding over the bike bridge...
We are even taking naps out in the sun...
We are planning a Facebook talent show for our primary kids, I hope they participate...
Our school did a teacher parade, I was supposed to participate but Abby wanted to watch it instead. So we parked on the side of the road and watched all of the teachers drive by and wave! It was so fun to watch and see their faces again, all the 4th grade teachers yelled that they missed me and of course all of Jacobs teachers and abbys were so happy to see them. It was a great boost!
Ashlyn had to make a kite for her math class, she did a great job...
We went for a walk yesterday, stopped at a church because it was empty and did a few laps around the building...
Rick playing catch with Jacob...
Abby on the tree swing...
We are doing a worldwide fast today to hopefully end this Corona craziness! I'm praying we will see an end to this sooner than we think! The quarentine is going a lot better than I thought it would though, the kids are getting along more than they're fighting. They're getting creative in things that they do, and we are able to spend a lot of time outdoors. In a way, I'm grateful that we have had this chance to be together as a family. I just don't want to press my luck for much longer, hahaha!
