Week in Review...

Girls watching Trolls, which is Abby's favorite movie ever!
On Monday night we had a special ward FHE, which is the first one ever I believe. We had it at the Temple Visitors Center and the young men/young women started out the night by singing Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree. It was cute! We then did a scavenger hunt around the visitors center. It was a fun night!
I even found a name tag that looked pretty cool on the Missionary Badge wall:)
On Wednesday we had a short micro burst of rain while we were heading out to drop off Haley to school. The girls were so excited!
We added on about 30 feet of fencing to our side yard so that we could have more space in our backyard. We split the cost with our neighbors and it turned out great. We have already filled it up with our bikes and now the backyard feels so much bigger!
It's been a good week, trying to piece together our family's ancestors. We had our 21 day quest conclusion night on Thursday. We had dinner as a stake Relief Society and then had a couple of speakers. President and Sister Cochran from the Mesa Temple Presidency spoke to us and they were very inspiring. President Cochran said that the answer to all of our worldly troubles can be found in the temple, he said that we will be blessed by attending. He said that if we are wary to share the gospel to the world, then come to the temple and do missionary work in the temple by saving souls already passed. He said that the temple is far too empty. He said there are 34000 temple recommend holders in the Mesa Temple district and that if every one of the recommend holders would attend just once a month then the temple would be overflowing. He said to make it our #1 priority and everything else will fall into place. He said that Satan loves to stress us out, it's his best tool. He said in order to find peace, come to the temple. He definitely inspired me to attend the temple more often.
