Busy Week!

Yesterday we went to Wet N Wild in Phoenix because they had a super good discount for scouts and their families. We had never been, so it was fun to go and check it out. The kids had a blast and I even got to go on a few rides, they have some super scary ones! One is like a roller coaster, but you're on tubes! So crazy! Abby loved going in the wave pool with Rick, which was all that Rick could do because of his knees:) He still had fun though. Abby would go in the wave pool for about 5 minutes and then be freezing, so she spent a lot of time warming up in the sun.

We had a great Easter morning, the kids love searching for eggs. Well, at least the younger kids do:)

On Friday the older kids were invited to go to lunch with a family in our ward. They went to over easy and had lots of fun:)

Earlier that morning we had our community Easter Egg hunt and the Easter bunny even showed up! Abby was terrified of her, but Ashlyn and Jacob thought it was cute.

They had fun jumping off of the bench before the hunt started..
My Arizona baby, hunting for eggs barefoot...

After the hunt I had to rush out to the Mayo Clinic because Rick was getting a third opinion on his knee and had forgotten his MRI CD, so after dropping it off I took Abby to Riverview park. She wasn't too interested in the splash pad, so we wandered over to the park.

Since I'm in school I wanted to create a good family work space where everyone could do homework or crafts. It's a work in work in progress, but here's a BEFORE pic...

Here's a now pic, I got two desk tops from IKEA and put three filing cabinets under them. We now have a 10 foot work space for everyone to use. Just needs some decorating and we need to attach the two desks together.
 More Easter pics...

Last night I wasn't feeling well, so Rick dyed eggs with the kids. Abby was so excited to show them to me after church, her's are the pink ones!
I got this pic of the Mesa Temple for Easter. I love it!
