Week in Review...

Rick took Ashlyn kayaking yesterday and they had a great time! Beautiful overcast weather!

On the way back into the marina Ashlyn got towed in on a tube that they found out on the lake a few weeks ago...

On Tuesday night Ashlyn and Jacob prepared a piano recital. They made programs, prepared treats and let everyone in the family know how excited they were! I've been teaching them for the last several months and Ashlyn completed her first piano book, so they wanted to celebrate with a recital. They both did a great job!

I found this newspaper that had a picture of my parents when they first opened the Cold Stone in Danville, CA. I posted it on facebook of how proud I was of them for having a dream to own their own business and they actually ended up owning 2 of them! I had a lot of people comment that they had been to their stores and how clean and friendly they were!

On Friday we had the most beautiful summer weather! It was 90* and overcast with a breeze. AW!! It was heavenly! We went swimming and the water actually felt cold again and then the Bishop invited us over to a retention basin to play kickball.

On Saturday Rick and I had a special date to go and see Matt Meece from Studio C at our favorite Comedy Club Jesterz. It was really fun to see him perform live, he was hilarious!

Then Haley and her best friend Alyssa got to go and see him later that night!

Such a fun day!
