Week in Review...

We had two birthdays this week! Ashlyns was on Wednesday, she turned 15! We love our Ash Bash and are so grateful she is in our family. She is the peacemaker and is always willing to help out. She loves doing her nails and will also oblige us in doing Abby's nails too. We love her!

Ashlyn got a kalimba for her birthday, it plays a soft bell tone. Haley fell in love with it and wanted one for her birthday too...
Haley, Ashlyn and Jacob went ice skating on Friday night and this was the only picture that they took...

Ashlyn wanted fajitas for her birthday dinner and fried rice, I was happy to oblige....

Haleys birthday was on Saturday and she worked all day, so we didn't get a chance to celebrate so we will do that tonight. We let her open her most favorite gift though, her kalimba which she immediately played Happy Birthday on...she wanted Chick fil a for her birthday dinner...

Ashlyn and Jacob went to a birthday party for our neighbor down the street last night, they had lots of fun...

It was a busy week this week, on Monday I found out that I was accepted into the masters degree program at ASU for special education. I'll be starting in January and going to school for a year and then next January I'll do my student teaching. I'm excited to get started...

Abby found Haley's makeup and thought she looked so pretty....

Week in Review...

My neighbor likes to give us hand me downs and we love it! We got this shirt and discovered that her husband is related to the Ehlert family. Too funny!!

Yes, we set up for Christmas. I just know life is going to get really busy here soon and I couldn't wait any longer...

Still seeing lots of Trump support out there, even people holding rallys on the streets...

Abby went down to the park on Saturday and the sprinklers were on, all of the kids had a great time playing in the sprinklers...

Our dryer broke this week and we just couldn't fork over the money for a brand new dryer so we bought a used one. The guy delivered it for us and took away our old one. He said he just wanted to pay it forward. For the first time in 10 years we have a dryer that actually dries clothes on the first load!! I have been having to run our loads through 2-3 times to get them dry. So thankful that our used purchase has been a successful one!

Week in Review...

The kids have been spending a lot of time outside this last week with the cooler weather. It's our time to get out:) The kids are loving the swings we have out front...

Scootering around the park...
What a beautiful day...

We were so lucky to get to hear Elder Garron Hahn's homecoming talk on zoom today! He talked about how serving other people is the best way to show our love to God and it can also have added benefits such as easing anxiety. Loved seeing my mom and dad up on the screen too...

Garron looks good in glasses!
Abby spent a lot of time on her own this week, she had a cold so I left her at home. Rick works from home but is literally working in his room with 0 breaks all day and Haley has virtual school during the day too. So she was unsupervised a lot, and as a result we got lots of pics and videos of her, lots of random texts sent to me and somehow she managed to sprinkle baby powder all over her room. Ugh. We are excited for her to go back to school on Monday, haha.

This week was a tumultuous week with the 2020 Presidential election, Biden has been presented as the President Elect with Kamala Harris being the first woman VP elect. While we aren't happy with the results of the election and feel like there was fraud and corruption happening, we are ready to move on and let God Prevail. We know that He is truly in charge.

Week in Review...

I'm trying to figure out how to keep house plants alive, it's not working great so far...

Rick and Abby carved a pumpkin this week...

Ashlyn and Jacob decided at the last minute to go trick or treating...

Halloween night...
Ashlyn peeled her pumpkin and then re-created something cool on it...

We are starting to buy all of the foreign cold items that Haley will need to survive Idaho! She's counting down the days to where she feels cold!!

All of the aides at school dressed up as pumpkins this year...

Jacob borrowed a t-rex costume...

Abby was a cheerleader, and Ashlyn was a scarecrow...

We trick or treated with a bunch of neighbors and the Pauls came! They looked so cute!
