Week in Review...

I went to the airplane slide job on Wednesday and only got to slide about 7 times before I landed wrong on my ankle and had to sit out the rest of the day. It healed up quick, and it's fine now.
We went and took some pictures of Abby in preparation for her baptism coming up!

We got some rain in the valley and had cooler temps to enjoy!

Jacob found these pictures on an old camera that we have...

Can you see Abby flying off the high dive? She conquered the high dive! She had a friend's party at the pool down the street and we had the whole pool to ourselves for the first hour! It was like a private party!

We got her a gymnastics bar, and she's loving it!

Celebrating Abby's 8th birthday today...

Abby will be getting baptized this Saturday! We are excited for our baby to take this very important step!

Week in Review...

We have had some cool weather moving through the last week. Finally got a monsoon, now we just need lots more to fill up our reservoirs and lakes...

We got Kyler groomed!

We had a hot 4th of July-we didn't buy any fireworks just sparklers so we watched our neighbor light off fireworks. They had the big illegal ones and it was cool to see those shoot up high in the sky...

I wasn't feeling well, and it was hot!

We got a new garage door! When our cabinets fell they dented our garage, and it was starting to tear apart. So this was a necessary change..

We got an insulated one! It keeps our garage dark and cool, it was extra for windows and I like the cool part, so it was ok.

I replaced the mirror in the kid's bathroom, painted, and put up 2 shelves. I think it looks pretty cute!

I made Abby this crown in primary, she loves it!
Rick and I got Suns shirt to celebrate them being in the finals!

We are squeezing in lots of swimming and trying to get school shopping done before school starts right after we get home from Tahoe in a few weeks! The summer is almost over, noooooo!

Week in Review...

Ashlyn tried to do tye-dye nail polish, turned out cute!

Our neighbor was in a drama camp at Red Mountain high and we got to go and see him perform in Seussical the musical, it was cute!

On Saturday night our neighbor had the police and firefighters over, we still aren't sure why...but we were eating dinner and suddenly a firefighter is in our kitchen. We were like, uhhhhh. He said that our garage door was open and someone was looking in our garage, so he tried knocking and no one answered. So I guess he decided to let himself into our house?? It was kinda creepy. We thanked him and told him we would shut our garage door. It was a bazaar and pretty crazy!!

We have had lots of cool clouds coming in, but not much rain. Hopefully, the monsoons will start kicking up!

Here is the before on my bathroom....

Here is the after...I painted 2 walls with SW Sea Salt, it's a really pretty green. Hard to tell the color in the pics, when I have more energy I want to paint the rest of the bathroom. I went with 1 mirror instead of 2, I couldn't find 2 round mirrors that I liked. It feels like a major upgrade though to us, so it's a win!

I think this shirt needs to be mine, haha! I just wish it said 8 pm!

I got Rick a Sun's hat since they're advancing to the finals which they haven't done in 11 years. It's been fun watching the basketball games the last few weeks. I'm not even a basketball fan, haha!

I got Abby a cute sign and banner for her room, she wanted a picture with it! The sign says, Have courage and Be Kind. We are always trying to remind Abby to be brave. It's a daily mantra in her life...

Abby's been getting lots of use out of our slip n slide this week with friends...

Flying our flag this week for the 4th of July...
Ashlyn is taking care of a neighbor with chickens this week. Abby is fearless with chickens, it's pretty cute!

This week I'm hoping to tackle the other bathroom, with paint, a new mirror, and some shelves. I'll post pics next week if all goes well!
