Week in Review-first full week of School!

Haley and Ashlyn went to a friends house to go swimming, they had lots of fun....

This is Jacobs laptop screen for school, I guess he likes to laugh during the day....

We decided to liven things up and bring out the Italian sodas, the kids love them!

Jacob took a picture of me while we were getting ready to leave for church...our first time back since March! I also got my hair colored, but you can't really tell a difference?!
Kyler is by my side at every moment....
Ashlyn holding her flowers that she got from her YW leaders...
Rick has to get out super early to get a parking spot for kayaking, so he got to see the sunrise....

He also tried to fish while he went down the river...

Haley ventured out to the river with her friends...

Haley before church today....

We are all growing accustomed to our new schooling life, which is a lot of time on the computer and occasional freak outs because we can't login to webex, or find the link to webex, or can't hear or can't be heard. It's definitely a different life, but I've been liking the relaxed schedule that I have for my job and helping Abby with her schooling. I'm sure my schedule will pick up this week, but last week I only had to join the webex live at 9-9:30 each morning. That was great. Abby is getting less anxious about joining her live class each morning, and we are getting into a routine. It's not that bad, we will get through this!

Week in Review...

We have quite the floral shop at our house right now:) Ashlyn got a floral bouquet from her YW leaders this week, Rick got me flowers for our 20th anniversary this week and Haley got a bouquet from a guy that she went on a date with....they're all so beautiful!

Rick has a Rad Dad shirt and Abby is wearing a shirt that says Rad like Dad shirt. Too cute!

Jacob gave a talk at our home church today and talked about how the Statue of Moroni on top of the SLC temple had a capstone underneath it that had a time capsule inside. It was cool to see what was uncovered...including this gold plate with names on it.

For our Anniversary we got take out from our favorite Mexican restaurant, it was fun to reminisce about our wedding day and how far we've come in 20 years. We feel very blessed!

Abby gets very anxious about her online meetings, but she's been doing them and it seems to get a little easier everyday.
Haley got this beautiful bouquet from her date, he was a really great guy. Too bad he lives over an hour away...
For church Ashlyn had us make our own title of liberty flags for our family....

Week in Review...

This week we have spent trying to get ready for school to start. I was laid off from my Special Ed position, and interviewed for a Kindergarten aide position. I found out on Friday that I got the job! I worked at the school on Thursday and Friday.

Haley and Ashlyn stayed in California this week and flew home on Thursday and Friday. They've been making these crafts all week...
Haley's boyfriend broke up with her, so she's been looking for motivational quotes, this is what she put on her letter board...

Kyler/Tyler has been a sweet dog in our home, he loves to be by me at all times. One of Jacobs friends left the front door open when he was leaving and he bolted out the front door. He's quick as lightening, but luckily we were able to coax him home. Now we freak out whenever someone leaves, to quickly shut the door. Hopefully he will quickly learn that home is a good place to be, and not want to bolt.

Abby showing off her mermaid tattoo...

We went over to the Paul's this week to see lilly on her 2nd birthday. She was so adorable, I can't believe that she's 2!

We wanted to cool off on Saturday night, so we drove down to the river. It was nice and cool and so refreshing. We will have to start doing this more often...it was a little nerve wracking because the current is so strong. The kids would walk upriver and then float down and I was worrying about Abby. I told Rick, I don't think we should come back here again, It's too much to worry about. Abby looks at me and says, you're right mom, we won't bring you next time so you won't have to worry! haha! Little stinker. We will have to look for a more kid friendly spot, so that the Paul's can join us next time...

Haley and Ashlyn had fun in Suisun this week...
they went to visit family in Merced and visited a place called Rainbow pools and jumped off this rock...

They're so brave...

Kyler/Tyler loves to be by me at all times...

This week 3 of my kids will be starting at new schools and I'll be starting in a new position. All will be done virtually, this will be interesting! I've set up work stations in all of their bedrooms and Abby will be out in the kitchen, i'll be wherever I can be that's quiet. It will be interesting to say the least...
