Rick was home sick but got to watch the broadcast for church and captured Abby singing for Father's Day!
We had a lake day this week, its always so fun to be at the lake!

Kevin's grandma passed away yesterday, luckily they got to go see her about 3 weeks ago to say goodbye....
Today was Father's Day and my Dad is on a cruise to Alaska, happy Father's day to him and my father-in-law and my husband. They are all amazing Fathers and we are so happy to have them in our lives!
I had the opportunity to say goodbye to a friend of mine that was passing away. I got to tell her how much I loved her and how I had loved sitting by her in Relief Society each time and serving with her in activity days. It was really tough to do, but how often do you get the chance to say goodbye? She passed away a few hours after I saw her, she told me she loved me and teased me that we held up the back wall in Relief Society. She'll be missed, she's the mother of our kids piano teacher and she was an amazing lady. I can't believe that she's gone. I didn't even know she was really sick until a few days ago, she's been fighting cancer for the last 6 months or so. It's a recurrent cancer that she thought she had fought off a few years ago, cancer is the worst. I'm glad that she's not in any pain anymore, it just hurts for those of us left behind.
