2 weeks in Review...

My parents have been serving in the Portland, OR temple with my nephew Trevor for the last couple of months. This was their last day serving together, as Trevor has moved to Provo to start school.

My mother-in-law made lemon meringue pies for Rick's birthday this last week...
They also went out to Red Robin for his birthday dinner, I was at home resting because I have bronchitis.

Ashlyn went to her friends birthday party and they took pics together...

Ashlyn got asked to Prom by a young man who used to be in our ward before it split! He gave her these flowers and told her to give him a pink flower for yes or a yellow flower for no...

I took a couple of sick days this last week and Abby put this sign on my door one of the days, it says "Mis Johnson is not at school kids." So cute! A couple of teachers said that they saw it and it made their day.

Ricks parents came back to Arizona to pick up their car that was getting worked on, and helped Rick celebrate his birthday. I was glad that they came in, because all I wanted to do was sleep.

My niece Anna got engaged to Hunter, they're so cute! Planning on getting married on August 9th!

I'm hoping this week I'll be feeling better, we shall see. Abby and I are going to the Grand Canyon with all of the 4th graders on Friday, so hopefully we will have fun...

Week in Review-Haley's Anniversary

This last week was Haley and Kevin's 3rd anniversary and it's been fun to reminisce such a beautiful day full of family and friends. We were so blessed with such a supportive family. Kim brought all of her wedding supplies, and my Mom too. Carrie did all of the flower bouquets and Sarah came to support. It was the best day!

I can't believe it's been 3 years!

Rick is bound and determined to start walking, and this week he was able to take about 4-5 steps! He walked all the way to the park across the street, which was about a mile total! He's working so hard to get his strength back!

Oh my sweet babies!

It was a good week, we are trying to get ready for the warmer weather but I think every year we are in denial that the good weather has to go away again. We are so blessed to live in a place where the winters are so beautiful, but the summer are brutal. I'm looking for a home with a pool almost every day, but home prices are ridiculous. We got a new bishopric today, it's always exciting. It makes you realize how much time the bishopric puts into serving the ward members. So much time! We are so grateful for their service!

Week in Review...

Ashlyn's best friend was in Canada for a few weeks and brought her a souvenir. So cute!

Taking the dogs for a walk...

Ashlyn's last winter guard season has come to an end, they made it to the championships and she said her last performance was the most fun! Color guard has been such an amazing program for our Ashlyn, she made so many great friendships and grew so much in her confidence and skills. We feel so blessed that she was led to this amazing program 3 years ago.

They got to ride in a party bus to championships! So fun!

Rick had a tough week with his knee, he had his post-op appointment and was really hoping that he would be told that he could start walking. Instead he was told it would be another 4 weeks before he would be walking/driving. He was really upset. He's been working extra hard to strengthen his quad, because he wants to beat the timeline...

Abby got 2nd place out of the whole 4th grade on track and field day in the hurdles! We may have a track star in our family!

Rick at his post-op before he got the bad news....
Ashlyn had her last Friends and Family night showcasing their performance, it was so fun to watch them perform!

She had her Young Women president and her Sunday school teacher and a couselor in the bishopric all come to support her! We have been so blessed with such good friends!

Kim got to have a great Easter dinner with family coming into town!
Mom and Dad got to have Easter dinner with Zachary!

My parents are serving in the Portland temple, it's so beautiful!

The Whittles got to go to Conference! Trevor got to go to all 3 sessions on Saturday! Sarah's daughter Macey also got to go on Saturday morning with her grandparents!

Ricks dirt bike was stolen out of our garage on Saturday, we are so bummed and heartbroken that it's gone. We feel so vulnerable and violated. We are going to install cameras. Unfortunately our Ring camera was charging and our neighbors didn't catch anything. The police told us that we most likely won't ever see it again. We are going to keep our garage closed from now on, and make sure to insure our dirt bikes. Hard lesson to learn.
It's been wonderful to listen to Conference this weekend, some of the talks were just for me I'm sure. We are so blessed to learn from our amazing leaders.
