Week in Review...

We got some fish this week, and the kids have loved taking care of them. The first 2 they bought died within a few minutes of going in the tank, so the kids returned them and found out that the water has to be filtered for 48 hours before they put fish in them. So that's what they did...

Beautiful Ashlyn, she's had such a rough senior year. Her best friend just went to Canada for an indeterminate amount of time because her Grandpa is dying, so winter guard just hasn't been the same but she's pushing through.

We went for a walk yesterday and it was such a beautiful day, so I told Rick that we needed to document it...we got 2 selfie pics...

Abby got to dress up as an explorer, Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo who actually was the first to explore California. There's a museum about him in San Diego....she was so brave for her presentaton...

Emilie came down for spring break and Ashlyn got to spend a little bit of time with her and Emma...

We went to Ashlyn's winter guard show last night and I loved that this other high school had a boy with down syndrome on the team, it was so cool to watch him...

They were missing 3 girls last night, but they gave it their all! It's always so fun to watch Ashlyn perform...

 This week is going to be a little bit crazy, my Dad's birthday is on Monday, Rick is having knee surgery on Tuesday, and my parents are flying in on Tuesday. Ashlyn is having an upper endoscopy on Wednesday, Rick has a PT appointment on Thursday and we are going to the Easter pageant on Thursday night. Should be lots of fun and busy!
