Week in Review...

My parents got me these beautiful flowers before they left for the airport, and they bring me so much joy! I love looking at them and remembering how my parents came all the way to Arizona to see me! They're the best!

Abby got to learn how to make amazing cupcakes at Activity Days, they were so cute and sooooo good!

Look at how cute they are!

Look at how cute!

Abby at gymnastics class about to do a back flip!

We got chocolates from Grandma and Grandpa Hahn, so sweet!

Rick has been so restless, he has to go for a walk each day to feel the sun. This recovery has been killing him. He's hoping for some huge improvement this coming week.

This morning all of my kids were in good moods and hunted for eggs! No grumpiness this year! Poor Abby hasn't been feeling well though, so I took her in and she has the flu. Poor girl!

Look at my beautiful Ash! I got her and Abby new dresses for Easter and only Ash got to wear hers because Abby was sick. We will have to get another picture when she's feeling better.

Kim got to have lots of family come visit for Easter, look at that big group!
I'm so glad Zachary had dinner with my parents, what a great Easter!

Even my sister Sarah had family over a few days ago for an early Easter dinner, so sweet!

Week in Review...

We were able to take my parents and Ricks parents to the Easter Pageant! It was a dream come true, so I wanted to make sure that I got there early enough to get good seats. The plan was for me to get there around 4, but I got there a little after 4 and we were worried we wouldn't get good seats. We ended up getting great seats in the 2nd and 3rd row and great parking! Blessings all around! It was an amazing performance and the spirit was very strong. We are so lucky to have such a great production put on by the church in our town....

Abby performing tricks for Grandma and Grandpa....

Abby got to pet a donkey...

Beautiful flowers around the temple grounds...
The kids got to go swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's hotel...
We were so blessed to have them here this week, they were a huge help!

Ashlyn before her performance last night, they did great and increased their score and got 4th place!

Poor Rick had to be alone on Thursday night while we went to the Easter pageant, I was so worried about him. Luckily, he survived!

Rick had his ACL reconstructed from his quad tendon on Tuesday morning, it's been a super tough recovery because he has to rebuild all of his muscle in his right leg. He can't lift his leg or bend his knee very much at this point. He's in a lot of pain and needs a lot of assistance, his knee is very swollen. We can't wait for this recovery to be behind us....

We were so blessed to be able to have both sets of grandparents here this week! They were both so helpful and we couldn't have gotten through without them!

My parents celebrated their 57th anniversary while they were with us, look at how cute they are! My parents are the cutest! I love getting to spend time with them because they're so caring, supportive and fun.
Jacob wanted to show Grandpa his scorpions that he hunted....

It was my Dad's birthday on Monday and we collected video's that we had of him, he's the cutest!
Poor Rick was so nervous before his surgery....
It's been such beautiful weather this week, we spent as much time as we could outside...
Abby said that she thinks she's taller than Grandma....
Almost....
But Ashlyn definitely is....
Poor Ash had to have an upper endoscopy done on Wednesday, they were looking for acid reflux but also checked for other things as well. we should find out soon what the results were...
She's so funny when she's loopy, she laughs....this was her starting to wake up....
Look at how cute she is, I just love her!
Spending time in the sun....

Ashlyn's cute friend Sara brought her a Sonic blast after her procedure, so sweet!
Showing off for Grandpa...
Grandpa wanted to take a spin on the dirt bike...
He did great!

Rick has been having cabin fever, he forces himself to walk a few houses down the street each day. It completely wears him out, but he's determined....
This was me hiding from the sun while saving seats at the Easter pageant...
We had a great group to watch the pageant with, and we couldn't have picked a better weather night...

It was such a fun night!

We brought Rick home some Chick Fil A on Friday night, he was pretty happy!

My parents bought me these beautiful tulips, they make me so happy!

We are hoping this week brings a lot of improvement to Ricks leg, that he's able to gain some more independence and his pain goes down. He's supposed to start working virtually tomorrow, but I'm not sure he's ready. He's still spending 90% of his day resting and needing lots of assistance.
