Week in Review..

On Friday night we got to go see the new Easter Pageant at the temple. It's completely new, and so beautiful! It reminded me of the music in Les miserables, it was fantastic.  

Rick and i went on a date on Saturday and got some gelato! Dairy free gelato and it was delicious!

Abby had a watercolor painting class for Activity Days and they painted a picture of Christ, it turned out beautiful. She said that He's under a bridge....

We got a yummy chocolate egg from Grandma and Grandpa Hahn!a

I have three weeks left of Student teaching, I'm trying to learn as much as I can and gain confidence in my teaching. I had my last video recording this last week and my professor was very complimentary. It was very nice to hear some positive comments because teaching is a vulnerable profession. It's nice to get a little boost!

Abby told us that today at church they learned about how they can pray during their trials and that Heavenly Father can help us get through our trials. She said that during her lesson she was thinking about how she had been scared to go to sleep on her own, and how she had prayed that she could do it. She's been working so hard on going to sleep independently and we have made huge strides in the last 6 months. I'm so happy that she knew she could turn to the Lord in her time of need. Such a great experience to remember!
