We had lots of rain in Arizona before we left for California, it was so nice to have cooler weather and lots of rain!
Jacob and Ashlyn flew out to California a few days before we drove out and got to spend time with Ricks parents. They got to go to Monterey and eat at a mexican restaurant....they saw dolphins and seals...
Ashlyn also got to go to San Diego for the day to celebrate her best friend Emilie turning 16! They spent a full day at the beach and came back with huge sunburns! They had a blast though!
Jacob and Ashlyn went to the jelly belly factory while they were with the grandparents...
Rick, Abby and I drove out to California on Saturday and we barely made it in time to baptize Abby! We had horrible traffic and detours and everything seemed to be going against us, but we made it and Abby was just beaming! She was baptized by Rick and confirmed by Rick. Grandpa johnson filled the font and when she came out she said it was "steamy hot!" Rick said it was hotter than a spa! I gave the baptism talk and we zoomed in our family to watch as well, the spirit was there and it was beautiful. Abby says she wishes she could get baptized everyday! She was so brave and so happy, we are happy she chose to be baptized. We will never forget her baptism. Haley and Kevin were able to drive out and be there, Haley played the piano and Kevin conducted...
My pictures are all jumbled up, but after her baptism the next day we drove to Lake Tahoe. We had a wonderful week with all of my Hahn siblings and parents. We swam at the beach, rented bikes, had family devotionals and had quite the adventure with a storm rolling through at Sugar Pine Point. My dad lost his glasses and my brother Ryan lost his wedding ring, it was a crazy day! I'll never forget the fun memories of seeing all of my family together. It was an amazing time!

Abby also had dental sedation work done, she was pretty out of it. She was a great patient though...

It's been an eventful few weeks!! Now we can start settling into our school routine and it will be back to school for me in a few weeks. My last semester before I start student teaching, eeeek!
