Week in Review...Dec. 29th

Grandma and Grandpa Hahn when they were here for Thanksgiving got us this Gingerbread train, we finally put it together! It turned out so cute!

On Christmas Eve we got together with the Pauls and went hot tubbing! Some crazy kids, namely Carrie actually went swimming in the frigid pool!! She said it was warm, but if warm means freezing than sure! haha!

We had our annual Christmas Reading of the story of the birth of Christ. This year when i started singing Glory to God which is tradition I got a lot of strange looks but my kids joined in with me. haha! This year we had Ricks parents and brother and fiance over, and his fiance is jewish so she thought I was nuts. Tradition is tradition though. Then the kids opened up their pajamas, it was an interesting night...

Hoverboarding at the park...

The day after Christmas we went to the Main event and did some arcade games and the older kids did a ropes course and laser tag.

Jacob found out that he's afraid of heights and ended up staying in one spot on the ropes course. He won't be attempting this one again...

The girls loved it though...

It took him about 10 minutes to get where he is now, and he went right back to the platform. I was proud of him for doing that much though, he was shaking and so scared.
The next day we went to the movies, because it was raining. The next day we went to the Scottsdale train park to ride the train and the carousel.

More pics from the hot tub...

Zach in the frigid pool....

It was a good Christmas for these kids...Haley and Jacob got hoverboards and Ashlyn got a long board skateboard. Abby got a Frozen bike and new scooter....

Abby also got a doll that our new neighbor made, it is adorable!

So grateful for the birth of Christ and the chance that we have to live a good life and know that we can return to Him.

Haley is getting her patriarchal blessing today and so we are preparing for that. We are excited for her and happy that she has made the decision to get one.
