Couple of weeks in Review...

The last few weeks my computer has stopped loading my pictures, so I'm borrowing Ricks computer for my blogging from now on... Ashlyn and Haley had YW in excellence a few weeks ago and they sang a beautiful song and presented what they've been working on in Personal Progress. Haley has been working and saving her money for college and Ashlyn did Jr Lifeguarding over the summer and volunteered lots of hours doing that.

Ashlyn and Jacob are doing lots of babysitting together and this cute new family moved in across the street and they've been babysitting them a lot. This is Nova, she is now Abby's best friend...

Here they are swinging away...

Abby got to help at the Lemonade stand at school! They sell lemonade on fridays at recess for .25 and at the end of the year they donate the $ earned to a worthy cause that they choose as a class. I was amazed to see her out working the stand, last year that wouldn't have ever happened. She is having an amazing Kindergarten year this year, everyone i talk to says that they're amazed at how much she has come out of her shell. I'm so glad that we decided to give her another year to grow.

I got to visit with my good friend Amy Black Randall last Saturday as she has moved to Arizona! She now lives in Queen Creek, but drives up to Mesa 4 times a week for ballet, so hopefully we will see her lots!

We had a big monsoon storm come in a few weeks ago and flooded a lot of different areas including our lake at the park by our house...

Abby playing on the trampoline...

Rick went kayaking yesterday...

It's been a stressful few last weeks, trying to adjust to lots of busy schedules going on between 3 of us working, school, activities, friends, callings, etc. We are looking forward to Fall break which is this week, a week off of school will do all of us good! Rick is basically running the whole operation at his building, his VP leaves to travel most of the time and he is in charge. He's been working from 6a.m. to 6 p.m. and it's been stressful not having him home and he is feeling a lot of stress at work. Hopefully things will ease up, but we are heading to San Diego later this week for a re-charge which is greatly needed.
