Week in Review...March 10, 2019

Abby being a monkey...
Riding on the electric scooter that our neighbors have...Jacob and Abby...

Abby and neighbor Jacob...

On Thursday I got to go on the Farm field trip with Abby's class, we had lots of fun. Abby loved every second of it!
My friend Misty, who is another aide at the school got to go with her daughter as well...
So excited for her first ride on a school bus....

We went to this farm last year with her preschool group and she had a hard time participating. She refused to go on the slide or the jumping pads, but this year she wanted to do everything! I was so happy to see that exciting change, where she wasn't scared to have fun!

Abby's class with their teacher Mrs. Pena...

Then that night we ended up at Urgent Care for an ear infection and croup....ugh!

Me and Mrs. Pena, on the train ride...
Right before we left...
Today Ashlyn spoke in Sacrament about how reading the scriptures can bring us closer to Christ. She did a great job, didn't need any help from me. It's great to see my kids growing in the gospel.

  1. Hi Lindsey, just catching up on your blog a bit. I read several weeks worth of posts so if my comments don't match up to this weeks events, that's why. Your kids are so grown up! And you don't look a day older than when we were teenagers. I got a Christmas card from Kelly Morris (Payne) and was kind of freaking out that she has a daughter that is the same age as we were when we hung out together. What?!?! But your oldest must be close to that age, too. Wow. Crazy! How cool that you got to see the prophet! I enjoyed your notes. I got to see Sister Nelson speak a few months before her husband became the prophet and she was powerful! If you figure anything out on how to handle your daughter's anxiety I would love to know. My son is currently receiving a treatment called EMDR (google it!). His anxiety manifests itself as tons of anger when he gets home from school--he's at the end of his rope after keeping it all together while at school. Anyway, he's had his 4th treatment and I can't tell if it's helping yet or not. Best wishes in your journey to helping her! I can tell from the last pic that all the girls at your school must love you to pieces. I'm not at all surprised! Glad to catch up with you for a minute. We'll keep praying for Rick and your family.
