Week in Review...Feb 3, 2019

Ashlyn stacked liquids in her science class and sent a pic to me:)

Last Monday for Civil Rights Day we went on the "Garron hike" which is the new name of the place where we took Garron to hike. It's beautiful, but the kids complained the whole way up. On the way down we got a little lost and suddenly it was the best day ever!

Abby looking cute at our park...

The kindergarteners dressed up for the 100th day of school as if they were 100 years old. Abby didn't want to participate but I got asked to sub as her aide that morning, so I threw on some clothes, rolled up my socks and put my hair up in a bun, I was channeling Sister Nielsen. I even drew some wrinkles on my face. It was fun to walk around school with a cane!
Abby putting together her 100 day necklace of fruit loops...see all the silver hair in the room. Too funny!!

I love this picture of Christ, we are giving it to the primary kids for their birthday...

I love this one too...
Jacob finally got his Arrow of Light award that he earned back in July, wahoo!!! Also, I can't believe that I forgot to mention that Jacob got the Aaronic Priesthood on January 13th, conferred upon him by Rick. He was able to start passing the sacrament on January 20th, which happened to be our Ward Conference and he was in the position where he had to serve to the Stake President first. I was nervous for him! 4 out of the 5 boys passing the sacrament that day were all brand new and serving for the first day. I think the bishopric was sweating bullets too. Hahaha, they all did great though.

We finally made it over to Carrie's new place to go swimming. The pool was cold but the spa was perfect! The kids were brave and went in both!

Rick is doing well with his job hunt, he's still interviewing a lot and has progressed pretty far with a few companies. Hopefully soon we will have some good news. I've been blessed to work everyday since School began, my school is being really nice and letting me come even when I don't have a sub job. I'm not sure how they can do that, but I'm not asking too many questions. hahaha
