Week in Review...

Our front room couch has been broken for a few months, so we finally got a new couch! Well, new to us:) it's nice to sit down and not be scared that you're going to fall on the ground, haha!

Ashlyn and Haley went caroling with the YM/YW on Wednesday on a big lit up trailer, they loved it!

On Saturday we went and painted rocks for a Children's visitation center, to bring hope to those that visit. These are Ashlyn's creations...

We then placed them outside in the garden area...

Last week while I was subbing the kids found a preying mantis, at first they were trying to kill it. So I tried to tell them that they're harmless and to leave it alone, hopefully they really are harmless, hahaha!

I convinced the board to paint a sign at our entrance! Yay! Now everytime we drive by it Abby says, Adobe Hills! So cute!
Looking up at the beautiful fall sky, oh wait it's winter right?! haha!
Abby had her Christmas program and she was so nervous!! But she did it and she did a great job. She really has grown so much this year, what a sweetheart!

Abby and Jacob helping to blow/sweep up the leaves...

After we painted rocks we went to the new Pioneer Park to play and meet Rob's new girlfriend. Rob rented some electric scooters for the kids to ride around on, they loved it!

On Sunday we had the kids do a nativity! It was adorable!!

On Friday morning we had a huge announcement come out from the Church about age progression. It was a big one for us because it states that from here on out that you move up into your next class on the year that you turn 12, 14, 16, 18 in January instead of on your birthday. This effected our family in that Jacob gets to become a Deacon in January instead of in August and Ashlyn gets to become a Mia Maid in January instead of November. She was bummed that she only got a year in Beehives, but she'll get 3 years in Laurels. Our Valiant 11 class will no longer exist and will be moving up to Sunday School and YM/YW's. I'm grateful to live in a time of such amazing revelation. We truly have an inspired Prophet who is receiving revelation so fast. This time is hastening and the work is increasing. I got the chills when I heard the news. Take your vitamins for sure!
