Monday was my mom's 70th birthday!! I can remember when she turned 40, how did this happen?! So crazy! Luckily, she doesn't look a day over 40 because she's so beautiful. I'm so lucky to have her as my mom. We made a special video for her from each family wishing her happy birthday. The sisters in the family also gave her a gift certificate to get a mani/pedi which she enjoyed. Love ya mom!!
We had a very busy week, I think that every week just keeps getting busier. I got to help in Abby's class several times this week, as well as in a few other classrooms. The school had their Thanksgiving feast and Abby's cute class made these adorable turkey hats.
We spent two of our afternoons in the Urgent Care, the first time was with Jacob. He has some unexplained swollen lymph nodes on his back and his neck. They put him on some antibiotics and steroid to see if they would go down, and if not we have to go get an ultrasound and xray. They haven't gone down, so we are going in on Monday for the ultrasound and XRay. I'm trying not to freak out yet, but prayers would be appreciated:)
The second time was because Ashlyn's finger was still swollen from jamming it at a Halloween party, playing tag down at the park. This is the second injury she has sustained at our park. They took an X-ray and she fractured it. It's on the growth plate, so we have to get an appt with a pediatric ortho somebody. Poor girl just can't catch a break! She's so tough, it's her right hand so it's hard for her to write. She also rides her bike to school, so that's going to be tricky.
She got a new outfit for school, doesn't she look so cute?!
Abby was my little errand buddy today, so I let her ride on the carousel. She loved it!
We met up with the Paul's tonight to go for a walk and they had to get home, so we took Ethan to Red Mountain Park. The kids needed to use the bathroom and it was a bit cold so they were enjoying the warm air dryer...
I hope that Jacob and Ashlyn are okay! Man! You have had a busy week!
