Week in Review...

Abby doing her shenanigans at the park...

We went with a pumpkin kid this year, because I was crazy busy! Abby thought it was extra cute!!

The school posted this pic on their Facebook page, can you spot Jacob? He's playing a new game the kids call gaga ball. It's kind of a contained dodge ball, Jacob plays it every recess.
Abby loves to match with her Ash...

Abby and Ashlyn were the only ones dressed up for our Halloween party this year, Jacob was too busy playing to find a costume and Haley had to work. At least these 2 looked cute! I was in charge of 4 booths at the carnival and ended up running 2 of them for 2 hours, Rick had to work all day. So we were pretty exhausted after it, and then I had mommy guilt because I didn't get to take Abby to any of the booths. She had lots of fun running around with Ethan though.

Abby with Lexi and Samantha...

Ashlyn had a lip sync battle with another wards beehive group---She did it with her friends Emilie and Emma in the ward. It was so cute!

We had our primary program today and it went really well, a few little hiccups but I felt the spirit so strongly and Abby sang and did her part in the microphone!! That was a huge thing for her. I was so proud of her! Then I did a teacher training for 2 hours with my primary teachers and we went over the new curriculum for the year. It was a great day, that I'm glad is over! haha! My brother Randy got an amazing job this week. Huge blessing, many prayers have been said on his and his family's behalf. We are so grateful that he's been offered this great opportunity. We are so thankful for the Lord's many blessings in our family's lives.

Week in Review...Oct. 21st

I have a new ministering sister who brought over dinner last week. She brought three pizza doughs, sauce, cheese and pepperoni. The dough and sauce were homemade, it was so sweet! The kids helped me make the pizzas and they loved it. I even had some, and got really sick. But it was worth it to enjoy the experience with my kids:)
Ashlyn got a twirly dress from a sister in our ward who makes dresses. She waited for weeks for the dress and was so excited to finally try it on! It's so cute!

The kids love playing basketball at the park with Rick, they got 2 balls in the hoop at once...

We met Carrie's family at the park last Sunday and Austin wanted to take Lucky for a walk, so cute!

Mesa had their huge Celebrate Mesa event last night and we got there as soon as it started. Abby was not liking all of the crowds and didn't want to try anything or go on anything. Later the Paul's came and she finally went trick or treating. Here I am trying to get her to touch the goat, to no success.
It was a beautiful night out...

I got to watch Carrie's kids while she went to Activity days this week. This little cutie gave me a sweet smile...
This week we hit a major milestone with Abby, she had 2 friends that wanted to hold her hands while walking into class. So she decided that I could watch her walk to class, instead of walk her to class. This was huge! I could tell she was a little anxious about it, but she walked into class with her friends and did great. It helped that I got to see her a few hours later in the lunchroom...

Abby's class gets to play at the 1st grade playground after lunch until December because they have too many kindergarten classes to all fit on the kindergarten playground together. So they rotate throughout the year. This playground has swinging monkey bars and Abby is in the only one in her class that can make it all the way across! I got to be an aide at recess last week and got to see her! She was so cute!

The kids ripsticked over to the park yesterday to meet up with some friends who were visiting town...

It was a beautiful day...
Abby loved playing at the park...she makes everything into something she can swing on...

More cool events from last night, they had BMX bikers doing cool tricks...

Even Lilly liked it...so cute!!

Such a cute family...
Haley went on her first date last night!! It was a blind date, and they didn't take any pics so she photo shopped them together for me, hahahaha! They went to the carnival too and we suspiciously never bumped into them! She went with a friend from seminary, it was a double date. They had lots of fun and he was so sweet to her. I'm glad that she finally got to go on a date and that she had a great experience. My baby girl is growing up!
