Week in Review...

We had a wonderful Christmas, it was great to be able to spend time together as a family.

One of my counselors gave me these super soft slippers, so sweet!

We got Abby some kinetic sand and she's made these cute creations...

Ashlyn got a polaroid camera for Christmas!

Jacob got this Hoops game with his $ from Grandma and Grandpa Hahn, Abby loves to play it too. Abby got some pink sparkly boots! If she ever has a choice in what to buy, it's either clothes or shoes. Too funny!!

We took the kids to the park this week, they loved exploring this new one...

 Christmas Eve jammies...

 Christmas morning...

Rick got binoculars for Christmas, so we went to the park to try them out...

The kids got balloons to make balloon animals, turns out Rick likes to make them too..
I started working for Shelley Bee, a dressmaking business in my ward. She made the leotard that Abby is wearing and on my first day of working she gave me this teepee to take home to Abby. She said that I can work with her permanently and not just during the break. Happy Day!

 Abby hiding away to read....

Rick is applying to many opportunities, hopefully we will start having interviews come pouring in. He's getting anxious to get working again, although he has loved having some time off. He was given the opportunity to put new brakes on for a family in our ward, for $. We are doing what we can:)

Week in Review...

Last Sunday we drove through some lights at Illumination. It was very cool, all the lights were synced to music. The kids loved sticking their heads out of the sunroof of the van while we drove through. Abby made this cute gingerbread headband and girl at school...

My parents Christmas card is so cute!

Abby drawing a picture for her teacher aide that she loves...
Jacob had a great Orchestra concert!
Abby had an ear infection, so her teacher aide sent home this cookie to decorate. So sweet!
My momma retired from Livermore High School! She was the attendance secretary for many years and retired with honors! What a great example she is to me! Love you mom!

Took the girls for a walk, they love this rock maze...Abby insists on matching with Ashlyn on the weekends, it's pretty cute!
Rick was laid off on Thursday as they were preparing for their Company Christmas party. Needless to say, the Christmas party didn't happen. Many people were laid off, the bank is kicking the management company out of Courtyard Towers. Not sure how it will continue to run. Ashlyn found this necklace on our walk, it brightened my day...
Took my girls to church for the Christmas Program. Poor Jacob was home with strep throat, he has it rough. I spoke in Church on Repentance and Forgiveness, for a quick 2 minute testimony. We had a beautiful program...

Abby watching her Christmas sing a long at school...
We have already seen some blessings come after Rick was laid off, I was offered to come into work everyday even when I don't have a sub job. I was also offered a job with a lady in our ward that runs a very successful dress business. Ashlyn is wearing her dress for our Christmas Sunday pic and Haley is also, I will be helping to organize dresses over Christmas break and possibly beyond if she needs me. Someone left an anonymous gift of an apron and a Christmas Apron book along with a chocolate bar. So sweet! We are grateful for our many blessings and know that even better things are in store for Rick and his career. Merry Christmas!
