Week in Review...

This week was Spring Break for the kids! On Monday we went to IKEA and to Fat Cats for miniature golfing and bowling. Abby even joined in and rolled the ball down the ramp.

On Tuesday we took some friends to go ice skating, which is a new event added to our pogo pass. The kids were so excited! Abby and I were just planning on dropping the kids off but the staff persuaded us to try and ice skate too. Abby looked so adorable in her tiny little ice skates!! It was the cutest thing ever. We lasted about 3 minutes on the ice! I was too unsteady and had to hold onto the wall the whole time and she was clinging to me with both hands because the ice was so slippery and she was so scared that she would fall. It was a fun attempt! I had Jacob rest with her so that I could go around the rink a few times and then we both just watched the kids ice skate. She kept her skates on for about 20 minutes because she loved them so much.

Ashlyn and her friend Rindi.

Haley brought her friend Addi. Addi and Rindi are sisters:)
On Wednesday we went swimming with some friends at their apartment complex. Thursday the kids were taken by the Weidmans to Makutu's Island while I did some daycare and then I dropped them off at skateland. Friday we had our annual St. Patricks Day Feast with the Weidmans and it was delicious and fun as always. Here are all of the kids on the trampoline, Haley was babysitting and came a little later.
Me and Janette:)
Rick pulled his hamstring on his left leg, so we borrowed this wheelchair for him to use at home to rest his legs. He has a torn ACL on his right knee and a pulled hamstring on his left leg. The dr thinks that his left leg was overcompensating for his right knee being hurt for so long. Now his left leg has to heal before he can have his surgery. He is a mess! He has to go to physical therapy three times a week until its healed. Abby loves getting a ride on the wheelchair....until I take a pic:)
Finally got a smile!
We had a fun and busy spring break! I got an 86% and an 87% on my mid-terms which I thought I had totally bombed! So that was good news!
