Week in Review...

This week we made our neighbor treats to hand out, peanut butter balls! It's becoming an annual tradition ever since I heard that Liz Hatch used to make them every year. I think about her every time that I make them. We used the extra chocolate to make some chocolate lollipops.
For Young Men/Young Womens this week the kids loaded up onto this awesome float and went caroling!! So fun! There was this lit up Santa in the back that actually waved!!

Here's the yummy peanut butter balls...
Abby loves to get a long object like a pen, or a stick and bop it up and down into a cup or bowl. She can do this for a long time!
Checking to see if anyone is coming to visit...
Nope:(
Love her pretty blue eyes!
Helping mom to sweep up...
The kids found the elves doing some acrobatics this morning...
I went and volunteered in Jacobs class this morning to help with making candy trains. It was fun and the kids loved it!

I bought this beautiful white dress for Haley when she was just a baby and hung it in her closet and totally forgot about it! Then I was determined to remember for Ashlyn and that didn't happen, so I've had it hanging on Abbys wall so that I wouldn't forget to have her wear it! Today was the day! Pulled off the tags and it fit her like a charm, so cute! She thought it was pretty fun to wear:)

We went and looked at Christmas lights the other night and this was the winner of the night. It was lit up like the 4th of July:)

Ashlyn got invited to a birthday party after school on Friday. It was pretty amazing, they had a huge bounce house, they hired a truck to haul in a ton of snow so the kids could play in the snow! They also had cookie decorating, pizza and a professional face painter! Wow!! She had fun! Here's the phoenix that she had painted on her:)

Update on Abby's eating: She will eat everything now!!! She willingly opens her mouth when we feed her and is eating all of the time like a total champ!! Rick and I went to Cafe Rio the other night for a date night and brought her along and I was feeding her pinto beans and rice and she was loving it. I'm so grateful that she is eating now! It was a tough trial, but with a little patience, perseverance and a lot of great advice and techniques I think we have overcome!!

  1. I'm catching up on your blog! So glad to hear that Abby is eating! Nothing better than seeing a baby chow down in her high chair. :)
