Vacation to California and Idaho

Abby has been very unhappy with me feeding her lately, all she wants to do is nurse! She throws a fit everytime I try and feed her, this is extremely frustrating because she isn't gaining any weight and I feel like i have a newborn again. argh! This was the result of a pudding feeding, yes she is screaming!! Who doesn't like pudding???

We drove to Livermore on Friday June 20th and Abby was so ready to be out of the car! She even let Grandma and Grandpa Hahn hold her!

Our family after church on Sunday.
We haven't seen my brother Ryan's family since Carrie's wedding three years ago!! It was so fun to catch up and have the cousins play together. We realized that my last three kids were born with a year of each of Ryan's three kids! Same genders too, it just took us getting together to realize this! It was fun having them all play together, wish we lived closer together!
We went to Santa Cruz on Saturday and it was heavenly! Abby loved exploring in the sand! She could've played all day in the sand. Beach baby!

Rick taught me how to boogie board, which was totally fun!! I've had such a fear of the ocean and it was fun to realize that the ocean doesn't have to be scary and that it can be really fun!!
On Sunday Abby was acting a little off, so Rick took her upstairs to take a nap. It wasn't long after this that she started to throw up:(. It's so sad to see my babies sick!
Cousins playing together in my parents backyard, I love their big redwood trees!
Ashlyn and Alta both 8.
Jacob and Jonah, 6 and 5.

Abigail and Amelia, 11 months and 16 months.
They were very curious about each other.

We took a drive up to Berkeley and rode on the Tilden steam train, that's always fun.

We then went over to the Oakland Temple which was actually closed for renovations, that was a bummer because we couldn't go on top.
Back again, almost 14 years later!

Mathias is the ultimate photo bomber!

On Tuesday we headed over to Suisun to visit with Ricks family. I wasn't feeling well and immediately went to bed, Rick and the whole family headed out to the Jelly Belly Factory. I was glad they left because I immediately threw up:(. They left Abby home with me and so I was throwing up with a baby crawling all over me, that was horrible! The kids all got home and immediately started throwing up and then Rick was sick all night too. It was not fun!! We checked in with my family in Livermore and Ryan's family all got sick too. So crazy!! Luckily my mom and dad didn't get sick!
On Wednesday I woke up feeling so much better and the kids were on the mend, so we ventured out into the house to recuperate. Abby loved grandma's little train.

On Thursday Abby and I caught a plane to Idaho Falls to see my sister Carrie and husband Zach bless their new baby Ethan. Here's Abby and Grandma Johnson saying goodbye to Abby before we left.
My good friend Kelly Payne picked me up from the airport, she lives in Idaho Falls and it was so fun to visit with her and she fed me a delicious dinner! She was so sweet to do all of this when she was leaving the next morning to drive to Livermore!! She has 5 beautiful kids and is such a great mom and friend!
I stayed at Sarahs apartment and had lots of fun with my sisters! I got to see the Rexburg Temple, which is gorgeous! Even on a cold, wet day!
Had to swing by my old apt complex where I was living when I met Rick!
On Saturday my parents drove in from Livermore and a bunch of my other family members and we went to the Schuellers cabin in Ashton, Idaho. They live right next to a beautiful river. About 15 minutes after we got there it started to pour rain and hail! It was quite the experience!

They have this old cabin on their property that still has a bed in it! Pretty cool!

A cool restaurant that we saw as we drove back to Rexburg, it has this huge Root Beer mug!
Abby is extremely a momma's girl and basically wants nothing to do with anyone else BUT....she would give her Aunt Sarah kisses!! It was pretty cute!
On Saturday night my parents got me a hotel room in Pocatello, since that's where the blessing was going to be. Here's Abby all conked out for a nap before leaving for church on Sunday.
Here's a lot of my family all together for the baby blessing. We are missing Randy and Lindsay, their kids Garron and Mathias came up with my mom and dad and Ryan's family. Within a week I got to see my whole family!! That rarely happens!!
All 5 sisters together again! Sarah threw Carrie a little baby shower on Saturday night, it was very sweet and Carrie got some much needed clothes! Kelli is holding baby Ethan.

While I was in Idaho, Rick was still in Suisun with the kids. They took a train ride...
Aunt Becca watched our kids alot while I was gone because Rick was sick for most of the time. She is such a sweetheart!!

It was a fun trip! My parents always spoil us and we felt much love from them! Rick drove home from Suisun all by himself while not feeling well. I'm so glad that they made it home safe and sound! It was great to see so much family and we can't wait for the next family vacation.
