Jacob got his license on Tuesday! He's already driven all over the place and he took a friend to the movies last night, he's loving his new found freedom...

 Lots of COVID is going around at my school and this morning I woke up super achy and congested. I'm hoping a day of rest will help kick whatever this is fast. 

Week in Review...

Yesterday my co-worker had a surprise party for her 50th! It was fun to gather with other coworkers outside of work. I'm blessed with an amazing team!

Memory from years ago at Thanksgiving...

Rick and Jacob got out to go dirt biking yesterday, since the weather cooled off a bit. This was a big hill that Jacob was scared to go up, so Rick had to ride Jacob's dirt bike up the hill...

Jacob turned 16 on Tuesday! He requested ribs and cheesecake for dessert, Rick worked from home so that he could cook the ribs for several hours. Jacob is our hard-working helper, he's always willing to help out and especially to cook. He loves to help in the kitchen...we are grateful he's in our family.

This weekend Ashlyn got to be a nanny for a family in our ward. She spent the night at their house got them ready for church and brought them to church and then took them home until another family member could take over. It was a lot of work but I'm so proud of her, she had great patience with the 3 kids and they were so cute with her. She's learning valuable skills!

 

Week in Review...

Our kitchen is almost finished! We just have to have a vent hood installed above the microwave and then we will be finished. This is supposed to be installed tomorrow. I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. It's my dream kitchen! I love it so much! Having the island be our table makes the kitchen feel so much bigger and the soft close cabinets and drawers are smooth like butter. I feel so blessed!

I got this adorable pitcher for my birthday, I love it!

My birthday was on Friday, my coworkers were so sweet to me and had pizza for lunch, crumble cookies for dessert and they gave me an amazon gift card! So sweet! We had lasagna and chocolate chocolate chip bundt cake for dessert. It was all delicious. 

The last day we were at the airbnb there was a beautiful full rainbow...

It was a great birthday, the best part is hearing from all of my family. They're the best!
