Week in Review...

Some of my Mother's Day gifts included Jacobs creativity....he made a homemade rose and bow! Plus a card, so sweet!

Haley and Abby dipped their hair in kool aid this week! So cute!

 Haley had a Senior Awards night where she was awarded the Presidential scholarship to a Mesa Community College! That means that she'll get free tuition for 2 years because she got a 3.5 cumulative gpa in high school, way to go Haley!

 The rivers and the lakes opened up on Friday, so we took the kayak and paddleboard out to the lake. It was a perfect temperature and we all enjoyed the water...

Jacob got a sign from Zaharis!

We finally found a pool at walmart so I grabbed it! The kids have enjoyed it, even Rick dipped his toes in....

We are finally getting some tangelos on our tangelo tree!! So excited to have 2 fruit bearing trees!

This is the last week of School for the kids and it's big transitions for all of them! Haley from 12th, Ashlyn from 8th, Jacob from 6th and Abby from K-What a big year it's been!

We went Camping!!

We got a slip n slide for the back yard and when Jacob was cleaning it up one day, he got stung by a bee! Ouch!

We got chalk to color our hair different colors, Abby does a different one everyday!

We went camping!! We were wanting to go with the Paul's but they couldn't make it with us, so I was pretty bummed and not really wanting to go. But we decided to go anyway, and on the way up discovered that our neighbors were also going camping. We met up at a Safeway in Payson and decided to go camping together. It was the best decision, we had such a great time with our neighbors and it was exactly what I needed....still wish the Paul's could've been with us, but hopefully next time...

There was a burn restriction, but we borrowed our friends propane firepit and it worked perfectly! We were so glad that we didn't burn a fire because a forest ranger came up later that night thinking we had a fire and was about to give us a ticket. When he saw it was a propane fire, he was very relieved he didn't have to write another ticket. He said he had been writing them since 5 am that morning!

We had a great time camping, the kids were in one tent and Abby, Rick and I were in the other tent. When we were going to sleep Abby says, will you please be quiet, I have to sleep with you 2!! We laughed so hard!

My papa would've turned 104 yesterday! happy birthday papa!!

When we got home Abby pulled out her other front tooth! Now shes missing her 2 front teeth, although her other front tooth is starting to fill in...

Happy Mother's day to my wonderful mother, who taught me by example how to be a great mother. Everyday I'm trying to live up to her status as the best mom ever! Love you Mom!!
