Week in Review...

We moved into an airbnb last Sunday while our kitchen is getting put back together, we are enjoying using the pool and actually having a dishwasher to use. Abby playing in the dog crate...

Ashlyn performed at a football scrimmage last Friday, they did great!

We went to Red Robin to celebrate my birthday and Jacob's it was terrible service but the food was good!

The first day we came to the airbnb Jacob went for a walk and got shot by a cholla cactus, Rick had to perform surgery on him by pulling each individual prick out of his skin. It was pretty irritated, but he's feeling better now. They're called jumping cactus because they get carried by the wind. 

Monday was demolition day for the kitchen, all of the granite and cupboards were taken out...

We have loved coming home and swimming after school, it's a great way to beat the heat...

Rick has been enjoying walks around the neighborhood too, it's a beautiful neighborhood right next to the school that I work at....

Relaxing in the pool after work, it's the best!

And Wednesday our new cabinets started getting installed!

Week in Review...

 We started school this week! Ashlyn started the week going to Senior Sunrise, she loved it! She went with her best friend Maddi

My parents are in Lake Tahoe right now and sent pictures of the cabin that we used to stay at growing up. Lots of fun memories of that house.

They also got to go visit with Uncle Bob...

They also went to Disneyland with Ryan and Randy's family...

Our sweet neighbors started middle school this week, I miss them at Zaharis but they came and told me all about their day and they talked for like 1/2 hour, so they were pretty excited. 

Rick and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary yesterday, we went to our favorite Mexican restaurant Los Serranos and it was delicious! We also went and got gelato...

I started my 2nd year of teaching, it was a great 2 day week. 

Abby had a great 1st day of school, she's in 4th grade and it's going to be a good year. She has Ms. Hamilton and Ms. Cooper for SLD. 

Jacob started his sophomore year and had lots of stories to tell...

We had a back to school night for Kindergarten, it was fun to see all of the new kinders...

Ashlyn started her senior year of high school and is stressing about her schedule. Hopefully she can get it all figured out.

Ashlyn went to As you wish, a pottery place as a last hurrah with Emilie before she leaves for college. She made this cute bowl...

We are currently in a vrbo while our kitchen gets put back together, can't wait to have a new kitchen and have a little normalcy to our lives. The kids are loving the vrbo because it has a pool!
