Week in Review...Dec 22, 2019

Our oranges are turning orange! yay!!

On Tuesday Abby went in for some sedation dentistry work, we were praying that she would cooperate and that we wouldn't have to do the IV sedation route again. If she was successful it would save us over $1000!! IV sedation is so expensive, we had to do with her one time already and with Jacob. So we were praying that this would work. We got there and she immediately downed the medicine, which was the first hurdle. Then she started getting wiggly and saying the funniest things. I was laughing so hard and she kept shhing me! She said that watching TV was best done whilst being upside down, she told me that she has 3 eyes and that I have 4, and that she had to take off her own sweater so that she would know that it's hers. It was hilarious, then they moved us into the operating room and they put the laughing gas on her nose and didn't fight it, so I thought we were doing good! Then the dentist came in and numbed her and all was good, she let them work on her and only tried to grab everything out of her mouth a few times, because she didn't like the numbing feeling. They were able to get all of the work done and I was shouting hallelujah. Then we got home and she was grumpier than grumpy, but I was ok with it because she had been so good the whole time. I promised her jean overalls if she was good at the dentist and she held me to that promise. We went and got overalls, a jean jacket and a minnie shirt plus a frosty at wendy's! All well deserved! Here she is resting after her shopping trip....
Then she insisted on going to the park in her new overalls...

It was a big week for Abby, she had a cute holiday play and she was a rabbit. She was the cutest rabbit ever, she was so brave!!

Then we made candy trains together....
Ashlyn had to prove that she can still climb the swing set even though she's a too cool 14!

Emilie and Ashlyn holding poses for me...

I got called up to the stage during the schools holiday sing along to help with a wrapping challenge, we had to wrap a bike!! I'm on the right side! We won!

It's been a good week, we are excited to celebrate Christmas with Ricks parents next week.

It has a really cool park too...

Abby and Jacob were part of the nativity at our wards Christmas party, they were so cute! I was so proud of Abby getting up there, I seriously thought she wouldn't do it!

Everyone took a pic with santa this year, and Jacob is smiling-it's a christmas miracle!

Haley and Ashlyn went ice skating this week in downtown mesa!

Lucky is hanging in there, she's moving slow and doesn't come around as much but she's still alive.

Last Saturday I had the opportunity to attend a leadership training with Elder Soares from the 12, it was amazing! I got to sit in row 5 and could see him clearly. He talked about how we need to increase the saints faith in making and keeping covenants. Our objective is to assist every member in increasing faith in the lord Jesus Christ and making covenants to get back to our Heavenly Father. Everything we do needs to have this objective, increasing faith. All the adjustments have been made with 1 primary focus, to develop faith. He was a very good speaker and I loved learning from him.

Rick got a new calling at church, he was called to teach the 16-18 yr old Sunday School class. He taught his first lesson today and loved it!
