Week in Review...

Today is the first day of fall break and Ricks parents came in on Friday night to spend a few days with us. Today we went to Princess Park and while Abby napped in the car I dropped the kids off at skateland and dropped off Ricks parents to tour Rick's work. One of these days I'll be able to take a tour too! Here are his parents in their courtyard...

While we were dog sitting last week my daycare kids loved the dog!

I moved Abby into Ashlyn and Jacob's room and moved Jacob into Abby's old room.

I got to visit Jacob at school last week while he went over his California project and his solar cooker.

Ashlyn loves to make this heart girl whenever she plays blocks with Abby...

Last week I was elected to our HOA board and we had our first meeting last week. I was put into the position of secretary for our HOA. It's a pretty big job, I have to keep all of the minutes for the meetings and then relay the notes onto our neighborhood Facebook page. It was a very long meeting too, 3 hours! I was so tired!! Hopefully the meetings will get shorter as time goes on, we basically kicked out the last board and so all 5 of us were new board members. Pretty intimidating, but we will learn and hopefully make our neighborhood beautiful again!

Week in Review...

This weekend we have been so lucky to be able to dog sit Zoey again. The kids are in heaven, especially Abby! She loves her zoe zoe! They beg to get to take her for a walk!

Haley had an orchestra concert this week and it didn't start until 7:30 and then it went until after 9p.m. This high school stuff is hard on the momma's bedtime! haha! She did great though and made 1st chair, way to go!

Ashlyn had her wax museum this Friday. She was Ponce de Leon, she had to stand very still until someone pressed her button, and then she came alive and told them her personal story. She was very cute and totally in character! Such a fun school event.

Until I told her to take a pic with her friends Molly and Maycee. These girls are also in her activity days class with me!

We also saw Jacob as we were leaving, he was cooking a marshmallow in a solar cooker that he made. So cool!

It was a very busy week, Ashlyn started soccer again and Rick is co-coach. I was elected to our HOA board and so that means that I'll be pretty busy for the next little while. Exciting stuff!
