Lots of changes!

Rick and I drove Ashlyn up to Flagstaff on Friday, and then Ash drove another 3 hours up to Jacob's Lake Inn in Fredonia, AZ. She was given a tour, got settled in, and then went on an excursion to the salt caves. She says that everyone is very nice and she's loving cashiering at the Cookie counter. She says that busloads of people stop in, and she's met people from England and Germany! She has a little elevation sickness because she went from 1400 feet to 8000 feet. They're saying it takes about a week to acclimate. I hope she starts feeling better quickly. It was hard to say goodbye, but I know she's going to have a great summer up in the cooler weather!

On her first shift at the cookie counter, she looks so cute!

Rick got me flowers for Mother's Day, M&M's and made dinner and cleaned up for me. So sweet! Haley sent me some beautiful bracelets, Abby wrote me a poem and water color painted a beautiful picture for me, Jacob made me a cake, and Ashlyn Facetimed me! I'm so grateful to be a Mom and I'm grateful for my own Mother and the inspiration that she is to me.

Saying goodbye to Ash and trying not to cry, I was unsuccessful. She's doing great things and will have a great summer!!

Her cute little bed set up, she was hoping to get a bottom bunk. She scored!

Abby had her Spring orchestra concert on Thursday night, she did a great job!

We had a belated St. Patricks day dinner with the Weidmans on Tuesday night, it was fun to celebrate with them.

My Dad sent this beautiful windmill for Mother's Day, so sweet! This was before I twisted it...

On Monday night, Emilie opened up her mission call. She's going to the Newport Beach, CA mission and she'll be speaking spanish, going to the Mexico City MTC on June 16th. She's going to do great!

So excited for her!
I went to wake up Abby one day this week and found this set up in her room. I just love her...

Abby loves dancing and Ash joined in! So cute!!

We miss our Ash, but we know that she's spreading her wings and making lots of great memories. It will be an adjustment without her, but luckily she's really good at texting me, taking pictures and calling. This helps a lot!!
