Week in Review...

Last week of school flew by! Kids are out for the summer! Now we just need to make plans to stay busy!
I was edging the lawn and a rock flew up and shattered our doggie door extension. whoops!! Rick went and got a new one and installed it!
I got a few things for my future classroom...

Last day of school Abby got to have lunch in the courtyard with friends...
My future classroom!

We had a breakfast on Friday where they said goodbye to teachers that are leaving and welcome to those that are coming! I got this cookie...

I'll be working on the classroom this week, cleaning and organizing as much as I can. I'll post more pictures closer to school starting, I'm so excited!!

One of my good friends sons got married yesterday and I was so happy to help at their luncheon. It's always so fun to serve and see the happy couple right after they're married...

Mother's Day and Graduation

This week was busy with Mother's Day and Graduation, it was lots of fun though! Abby made this cute bunny with our neighbors 3D printer...
Sarah sent me these yummy donuts for graduation day! So sweet!

I got lots of love from neighbors, friends and ward members..
Grandma and Grandpa Johnson came for the graduation, Grandma had fun riding the electric bike. She wants one now...

Ashlyn had her last orchestra concert, they did great!

Abby had a Krazy air activity for activity days...
I got my grad pics back from the pros....

I caught Abby and Ashlyn having a tea party...

At school they had some previous Zaharis alumni come and walk the halls, they are currently seniors and preparing to graduate....

When I logged into my ASU portal, I found this confetti congrats page....

Ashlyn dressed up for her pops orchestra concert...

We had lunch at the Old Spaghetti factory after graduation...
I did it! Dual masters degree in Elementary Education K-8, and Special Education K-12, with an English Language Immersion Endorsement. It's been a long road, long nights, stressful essays, lesson plans, internships, student teaching, feeling like  I was failing as a mom, wife and friend...but in the end everyone survived and we all got to celebrate. I couldn't have done it without the support of my family, cooking meals when I was in class, helping with chores around the house so I didn't feel overwhelmed and commiserating and laughing at the funny things that kids would say during the day. It was an amazing experience!

These girls were aides with me at Zaharis and we all jumped onto the Masters train together! They're both going to be 3rd grade teachers next year!

The balloon drop was so cool, they were huge balloons!

These are all of the people that went from class to class with me for a year! All online, this was the first time that I had met them in person!

My ward member friends all went in on flowers, cookies and 2 gift cards for me and surprised me at the door! So sweet!

My sweet friend drew this amazing picture of me, it's the cutest!!

Ethan my nephew got baptized last weekend, it was so beautiful!!

My mentor teacher got me this amazing vase! It's so cute!!

Rick took Jacob, Abby and grandma and grandpa Johnson out to the river to go kayaking while they were here, they had fun!

Mother's Day we got spoiled by Rick who made the dinner for us, so sweet!

I planted some flowers in the backyard, they're so pretty!

My mom and dad's home in Washington is blooming...

It was a great, busy week! Rick took Jacob to Father and sons campout, they took the truck and didn't get much sleep but they had fun!
