Week in Review...

 Ashlyn had her Friends and Family Winter Guard night on Friday, it was cool to see her perform again! She has her last competition on Friday and if they make the top 3, then they will perform on Saturday!

I finally got a picture up on our wall of Haley and Kevin's wedding! It's almost been a whole year! Crazy! And yes, I finally got Abby's baptism pic printed as a 5x7, I just need a frame so that it fits the other 3 kids baptism pics...

Ashlyn's Sunday school teachers came to her friends and family night, they've been so supportive of her!

It was another busy week, I'm starting to get the hang of Special education, but everyday is different. You never know what to expect. I interviewed for a Special education position at my school, I should find out this week. I also applied for the kindergarten position at Zaharis. We shall see, what happens!

Week in Review...

 

Last Sunday was Ashlyns best friends birthday, so we dropped of a present to her house. She showed Ash her new cello and let her play it. I'm so grateful for the good friends that my kids have!

This last week was my first week in Special Education, Abby was sick on Monday so I started on Tuesday. It was a crazy day, everything that could go wrong went wrong. It was a tough day to start off with, but the rest of the week was good. It gave me a dose of reality for sure. I'm hoping this week will be smooth, I have an interview with the school that I'm at on Tuesday. It's so hard interviewing for a job when I've only been student teaching in the position for a week, but I'll do my best!

Spring Break

 We got Kyler groomed and they put this cute St. Patricks day hankerchief on him!

This last week was spring break and the kids had a few days of fun, we went to the lake one day and to an Extreme Gravity place one day, the rest of the days were just spent at home reading, resting and watching T.V.

I really wanted to get one project done this week, and that was to paint my front door. Don't tell the HOA, because I didn't get it approved and it's definitely not an HOA-approved color! haha! But, I justified that it's ok because you can't see it through our security door. 

I think it's a fun, refreshing color!

There was a Face to Face event on Wednesday night and they talked about 3 things that they could do to put their trust in the Lord, so Jacob posted this on Instagram...

We had a zoom birthday party for Rick's mom because she turned 70!

It was a great, refreshing week. We are ready to go back to school and work. I'm starting my Special education rotation, and i'm excited for all that I will learn.
