Week in Review...

Ashlyn had a pumpkin decorating young women activity, hers turned out super cute!

Week in Review...

Elder Garron Hahn was an amazing missionary for the Lord, we are so proud of him and his efforts to sacrifice his time, energy, talents, and money for the Lord! We went in on this yummy cake to celebrate sweet Garron! 

Elder Brayden Hahn just left this last week to serve in LA, Ca while Covid is here. He will be an awesome missionary as well and we can't wait to hear all about it in his emails. 

The kids went to the park to play badminton yesterday, the weather is finally starting to turn a little bit cooler...

We grew these cucumbers and they're round! So weird!!

Haley did a good job braiding her hair...

We are working hard with Abby on her writing. She's having a super hard time with it, so we are celebrating every little success that she has. Can you read her sentence??

Rick took Abby and Jacob out to the lake yesterday, they had a great time!

This week was our first full week back at school, the kids are loving having more routine in their lives. I'm loving having the kids in school while i'm at work so i don't have to worry so much about them. Glad that life is somewhat getting back to normal. We have returned to every week church as well. 

 

2 weeks in Review...

It's been a long two weeks! Haley had a low grade fever for a week and we just thought she had a cold, so she stayed home and rested and didn't work. When the fever didn't go away, we sent her to the dr who thought it was a sinus infection but tested her for Covid just in case. We got the call that she had Covid last Friday after I had brought Abby home from school because she had been throwing up. It was a crazy day to say the least. Haley had Covid very mildly, her fever didn't go above 101 and most of the time it was at 100 or 99. She did get a cough and tightness in her chest but that only lasted a day or 2. She's feeling much better now. Rick also got sick with a cough and tightness in his chest but he got tested twice and both times it was negative. He's on meds for a sinus infection now. I also got tested and found negative. We thought for sure that it was going to go through the whole family, but we were spared and we are grateful that Haley is feeling better. We had to quarentine over fall break, so we had to get creative. Carrie brought over a ton of stuff to keep us busy, so sweet!!

On this last Friday we needed to get out of the house so we drove up to Willow Springs Lake which is about 2 hours away. It was nice and cool and so beautiful, we brought up the propane fire and roasted marshmallows for s'mores. It was just the break that everyone needed before we head back to school tomorrow...

Haley got a new phone so we were having fun taking pictures with the camera that comes with it...

All of the fun stuff that Carrie brought over, we have been having fun with it!

We got Kyler groomed for the first time and the groomer kept calling him Lucky because he looks so much like she did after getting groomed!!

And we are getting a puppy in a few weeks. He was just born!!

We are happy to report that everyone is feeling good and we are happy to be returning to normal life tomorrow!
