Week in Review...

This last week was stressful at our house, lots of different things going on. Rick needed a stress relief on Thursday, so I dropped him off with Ashlyn at the river and they kayaked and paddle boarded down. They both had a great time, it was beautiful on the water....

Haleys been making these lately, they're so cute!

We are grateful to be alive, and grateful for our supportive family.

Week in Review...

We had some families that met up at the park on Saturday to play volleyball. Abby enjoyed playing at the park...

First week of in person school! The kids go on Monday and Thursday and I go on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday so Abby goes to a support center on Tuesday and Friday. They help her with her homework and they do recess and lunch, and play computer games. She's liking it so far...here she is eating lunch on her first day back...

This is her friend on her support center day...
Haley got a new job at Firehouse subs...
We are starting to get out more as the weather is cooling off, it's nice to get outside....
Kyler is warming up to Haley, he took awhile...

Haley's drawings...

First week back to school was rough for me, at my new position as a kindergarten aide I'm on my feet all day. On Monday I had 10k steps by 9 am, it was exhausting. I'm sure that I'll get used to it. It was great to be back...

Week in Review...

Haley made dinner this week at her boyfriends house, they made chicken enchiladas. Man, I miss eating cheese!!

We had the Pauls over for a bbq on Monday afternoon, we set up the pool and the slip n slide. It was fun!

We set up a singing time game for today and it was really fun!
Abby showing off some math that she did this week....
Some crafts that the kids have been working on...
It was President Nelson's 96th birthday this week, what an inspiration he is to me! I shared this on our wards primary page...

Happy 96th birthday to our beloved Prophet! I sure love this man and all that he has taught me. He has taught me to embrace change, to reach out to my Heavenly Father to feel peace during the storms, to not let age be an excuse and to smile! What has the Prophet taught you?

Here is the poster that I made for our singing time game, can you guess what song this is?

This week Gilbert got a little hail while Haley was there...

We start school in person on Monday, the kids will be going Monday and Thursday and be remote Tuesday and Friday. I will be at school all 4 days and I'm having Abby coming with me and going to a daycare on Tuesday and Friday, we will see how it goes. I'm hoping all goes well! Ashlyn and Jacob both have new campuses to navigate, so I'm hoping all goes well for them.

Week in Review...

Haley Selfie...

Abby selfies...

Abby had to make a nature self portrait with things she found out in nature. She did a pretty good job!

Rick went kayaking on Saturday and was enjoying the river when suddenly somebody shot a gun right next to him on the riverbank. It not only freaked him out but hurt his ears really bad, poor guy....

We did a lot of electrical work this week, I replaced both vanity lights in our bathrooms and we spent 2+ hours installing this new ceiling fan. Ceiling fans are a huge pain to install, so glad that this one is done!
The kids are obsessed with Phineas and Ferb right now, so haley drew these characters...

New bathroom light...

Abbys working on her writing....In that pool sharks bite...
Haley has a new boyfriend, Hunter is 18 and comes from a really nice family. He's a good boy and they're having fun together.

Last week Rick took Jacob out for a birthday breakfast at Denny's and I forgot to document it. If you don't document it, did it really happen? Just kidding!
