On Monday night we went to the pool to celebrate Ethans 5th birthday. We got to go swimming and eat a cute firetruck cake that Carrie made, and Lilly loved swimming.

Our big news is that Rick got a job! He will be a Senior Marketing Director at another Assisted living facility in Chandler. He's excited about the opportunity to keep doing a job that he loves. The downside is that he will be working Tuesday-Saturday so he's still looking for another job but we are happy that he will have a job while he looks for another job:) We went to Cafe Rio to celebrate...

The kids got to go to the Gilbert Temple to do baptisms for the dead. They each took their own family names, 5 each. When they came home they found out that Dad had a new job! Temple work brings blessings!

Abby had pirate day at school, she was very anxious to go and really didn't want to dress up. We brought this headband just in case! As soon as she saw everyone else dressed up, she decided that it looked like fun, so we put it on. She had a really fun day...it's fun to see her conquering her fears.
I had a birthday celebration for 2 of my friends on Friday, always fun to get together with friends.
