Week in Review...

On Monday my friend and I met at the park to try and squeeze in a workout-but the kids were going everywhere so we didn't end up working out too much, but the kids had fun...

On Tuesday I got to go with Abby's preschool class to Butterfly Wonderland, it was fun. We even got to see a 3D movie and it looked like we could touch the butterflies..

We even got to bring Madelyn along, she loved it!

It seems like every time I lie down, Abby finds her way onto my lap....not sure how that happens...
Rick decided to have a birthday on Thursday and turn 40!! Wow! We are so grateful for all that Rick does for our family, we sure love him!
We got to go eat at Pei Wei and then have cake with the Pauls...

Meanwhile Ashlyn was at SeaWorld!! She got to go with the 6th graders and spend the night at SeaWorld, the boys even get to swim in the shark tunnel!! She had a blast and came home so happy and exhausted!

Mathias completed his final treatment of radiation on Friday! 6 whole weeks of radiation completed! What an accomplishment! Praying that all of the tumor is gone! Having lunch with Garron and Grandpa Hahn at Fentons after the treatment...
Ashlyn eating at Golden Corral on their way home from SeaWorld, that lucky girl!
Meanwhile Haley went to Target and took silly photos with her friends....I guess this is a thing that teenagers do these days...look at my pretty 16 year old!

Week in Review...April 22nd

Yesterday I went with Jacob to the Stake's Cub Scout day camp. It was really warm and bright sunshine the whole day-which was wearing but the kids had fun. It was in a beautiful location right next to the mountains. While I was at Cub Camp Rick took the girls to the park and out to dinner. They had a fun day....
Ash at the top...

They also went to Bass Pro Shop to check out the fish and animals..
Last Sunday I invited one of the men in our ward to be Joseph Smith and share his experience with the first vision. It was so neat! Brother Virgin did an amazing job and the kids were enraptured with him, I felt the spirit very strongly. It's so neat being in Primary!
We had a playdate at our house this week and the girls loved playing with play doh.
Abby and I went for a bike ride while the weather was so nice...
At day camp, so sunny!!
Jacob showing off his solar and lunar eclipse model he made out of marshmallows.
Rocket he made...
Jacob and his friend Bromley...
Look at that view, isn't that amazing?!

Week in Review-April 15th

Last Sunday we had fun celebrating Ethan's 4th birthday at the park, Carrie made a cute Mickey Mouse cake for him. He had fun playing with the kids...
We actually had a hummingbird come visit our feeder...

Rick and I had the opportunity to go to the Mesa Temple on Friday, it was a beautiful day. It's coming in a few weeks, so we had to get in before it closed for 2 years...

We then went to eat at a little Mexican restaurant in downtown Mesa and we had the whole place to ourselves!
Rick went kayaking on Saturday morning and kayaked to the end of the lake! He got quite the workout...

Mom Hahn sent this picture that she found of four generations of Hahns, look at cute little Garron and Mathias!
Ethan getting excited for his cake...

Playing with his new toys...

We have this Cat's Claw plant that I planted in our backyard right before Abby was born, I thought it had died for awhile, but it came back to life and loves the heat! Look at all of those blossoms! It's called Cat's Claw because it has little suckers that stick onto the wall and climb. I love it! Our back neighbor keeps chopping it off of his wall, I guess he doesn't appreciate it's beauty.
Our tangerine tree is starting to blossom as well...
Jacob made these cute flowers for Rick and I ....
Two of my friends had birthday's this week, so we went and got some Gelato, it was fun...
I got up and hiked a mountain on Friday morning, always a fun time!

Zachary Whittle is giving his farewell talk today and so the Ryan Hahn family and my parents went up to Washington to hear him...

Excited to hear about Zachary's adventures in the Phillipines...
Last night we had a date night to Jesterz-Pat Finn was there from the Toyota Commercials-he's a funny guy! Also Grace Bannon was there, I guess she's also in commercials.
It was a fun night...
