Week in Review...

Our prayers have been heard and Rick has had a much better week! He went back to the dr. on Tuesday and was basically told that he needed to be on a different kind of pill and luckily that one seems to be helping!! On Monday a special box arrived in the mail for Abby from Grandma and Grandpa Hahn, so when she woke up from her nap she got to open her present!

She was so excited!
She got a peg farm and a cash register. She has spent hours playing with these toys since then, they are family favorites now!

She also got a pretty new dress from our neighbor, here she is saying, "cheese!"
I took the kids to the park on Friday because it was pretty nice weather! Abby had her well check on Friday morning and she is finally 22 lbs! yea!! 3% for weight and 75% for height! She didn't have to get any shots, so she was a happy camper!

Haley had a blast with Grandma and Grandpa Johnson, she got to go camping at Big Sur and go to San Francisco! Here she is with her cousin Kaylee.

Hanging out in the RV...

They did a lot of biking around the campground, they had a great time!

Week in Review...

We got some rain this last week and it was warm outside so I let the kids go play outside. Abby thought it was great fun! Not sure why goggles were involved...

Jacob got out the slip n slide and it was like a splash pad for Abby, she had a great time.

Abby turned 2 on Saturday! We celebrated on Friday because Haley flew out to California on Saturday morning. We had Abby's favorite dinner, spaghetti. She loved it!
"CHEEEEESE!!"

All ready for her cupcake....
Happy Birthday ABBY!!

Yea!!!
She got some new flip flops, new hair barettes and a scooter/bike that she loves!

We love our Abby babby!

Grandma and Grandpa Johnson flew out Haley to California on Saturday morning, she gets to spend a week playing with them and even gets to camping. We haven't heard much from her yet, so we are assuming she's having a great time:). She got to go see Mary Poppins the play yesterday, so I'm already jealous! First solo flight...
Update on Rick: If you know what Rick looks like and saw him today you probably wouldn't recognize him. He's probably lost about 20-25 lbs in the last couple of weeks, he's very weak, tired and discouraged. If you are reading this, could you please say a prayer for him? He's feeling hopeless that he will ever feel better again, and that's a tough place to be in. All of the tests that he had done came back normal and so his regular dr. thinks that he's experiencing anxiety/depression. He feels nausea after he eats, he feels full after he eats a few bites and he's very discouraged that his health will ever come back. I've always been a very positive person and I know that he will get better, but it's hard for me to see him like this. Anyway, here's to a good, healthy week!

Double Week in Review...

Last Sunday my pictures wouldn't download, but luckily today they decided to cooperate. So now I need to try and remember what happened in the last two weeks, there's a reason why I blog weekly. hehe. On the 4th of July we wanted to head out to cooler weather and decided to go up to Payson. Well, all the roads to head out of town were either stop and go traffic or completely closed down. So we decided to hit up a new splash park and we discovered a very awesome park that we want to try out when the metal playground won't burn the kids.
Abby thinks that splash pads are heaven on earth! She could stay and play all day!

Then that night we lit off a few fireworks, the kids love the sparklers. I debated on putting Abby to sleep first or to keep her up, I decided to keep her up and she was fascinated the whole time! We had to keep her from running towards the fireworks.

These are all jumbled up for some reason, but on the way home from the splash pad we got the kids .59 ice cream cones at McDonalds. Abby loved it!

This is a pic from a few weeks ago at Bass Pro Shops.

Haley got invited to go and do Temple Baptisms on Tuesday with some youth in our ward and they shot this pic on the way home.
Abby and her fountain hair do...
Abby is all girl, if she can wear a purse, a dress, high heels, necklaces, have her nails painted, she is all in!

Ashlyn qualified for the medley swim meet and did the back stroke. She came in 7th and 8th place out of 10 teams. It was a tough competition but she swam hard and did her best, it was fun to watch!

We have been spoiled with some incredible summer weather! We have been able to get out in the mornings and go for bike rides and even to the park.

I've been wanting to re-do our bathroom cabinet for a long time but didn't want to paint them. I saw this stain on pinterest and wanted to try it out. It took about a week because after each coat it has to dry for 12 hours, but I think it was worth the wait.

Rick took the kids kayaking on Saturday morning and took this gorgeous shot of Red Mountain, love it!
