Week in Review...

Ashlyn, Abby and I went to her good friend Jeff Diewald's Missionary farewell. He did a great job and will be a great missionary.

On Saturday, it was Rick's birthday! We celebrated by going to the Diamondback game, it was so fun! We got to see Suarez hit 4 home runs! So cool! It was a beautiful night!

They opened the roof, and it was so cool to see it open up; the walls opened too!

We got there 2 hours early to wait in a long line and hope that we made the cut for the free replica jerseys! We made it! They're so cute!!

Abby's been doing awesome in volleyball! She's the black widow's team, and they're so fun to watch!

We had great seats, right behind home plate!

We came home and ate the lemon meringue pie that I made! Rick was happy!

We went to Red Robin on Friday night to celebrate Rick's birthday since Jacob had to work on his actual birthday. 

Cute Ashlyn is taking Kyler for a walk. We are going to miss her when she leaves us next week!

Ashlyn and Rick went kayaking on Friday, he took the day off, and they had fun at the lake...

I nominated 2 teachers at our school for awards, and they both won! Here's Ms. Annie- she's amazing!!

And Mrs. H-she's awesome!

It was a great and busy week!

 

Easter week!

We had a fun Easter egg hunt after church today, Rick tried to make it extra hard for them.  It was fun to watch!

Rick and I on Easter, Abby and Jacob had already changed... I got this tie for Rick after I got a text from a lady in my ward saying that she was buying it for her husband and wouldn't it be funny if more men showed up in the same tie? I think about 40 men showed up today with the same tie on, it was so funny when the men started to catch on.....

I sent my Mother-in-law and Mom saw tulips for Easter, they're so pretty!

I was in charge of our Girls Camp fundraiser and it was a success! We had the girls bake whatever they wanted and then they sold their goods at the park. We had lots of members come and family. The girls were so creative with what they made. Ashlyn was sweet and made brownies for Abby, since we didn't have much time to bake...

One girl was selling a vase of flowers from her backyard, they were so pretty that I couldn't resist!

Meanwhile, Rick and Jacob were helping members weed their yards....

My team was in charge of Library Appreciation Day--it turned out really cute!

I saw this new VW bus, it looked really cool!

It was a great week leading up to Easter. We are grateful for Christ, the life that He led, the example that He was and the sacrifices He made for us. He Lives!

 

Family came for the Easter pageant!

I remembered today that I can listen to the Easter pageant music by playing it on Alexa! So cool!

Lots of my family came down to see the Easter Pageant, and Maceys cheer competition! It was so much fun having them here and spending time with them. I think that quality time is my love language, because my cup is full! This was a dream come true for me! Here with 3 of my 4 sisters! Kim, Kelli, Me and Sarah

Abby was in the sacrament program today! All of the young women and their leaders read parts of the Living Christ, with music in between. It was very beautiful!

On our last night, we went to Panda Express for dinner. It was delicious and we were loud! I'm sure the employees were grateful when we left...

I was looking at Facebook and up popped all of these toys that I used to have, so fun to remember them!

Watching the Easter pageant was such a treat, having a lot of family there with me! Kim, Abby, Ashlyn, Jacob, and our neighbors jacob and caleb went down to the temple at 2 pm in the 100 degree heat! We saved seats for 31 people, it was definitely a labor of love but so worth it!

So glad that my parents were able to come!

Sweet Madeline, she's got so much energy!

Abby had a volleyball game on saturday, and they did amazing!! They won!

Ashlyn went with a friend to go see Sister Act for one of her classes, she loved it!

We had dinner at In n Out the first night and it was so much fun! Cameron started this game where he would try and make the people driving through the drive through laugh---the kids all joined in and were laughing so hard!

We went for a hike on Friday with my Dad, it was warm but luckily we didn't see any snakes. Lots of lizards though!

We had the Whittle Family, the Ron Hahn family, Kim and Amy and her friend Savannah and Sarah's family and my family. It was a blast!

And my best friend Amy was even there!

These guys came to visit me at school on Thursday. The first time that I've had visitors! It was so fun to show them my classroom and our tortoise habitat!

It was a wonderful weekend and I'm so grateful for all of the sacrifices that were made to come to Arizona! We did lots of swimming and spending time together. It was awesome!! So grateful for my family!
