Rick and I spent the week in Puerto Morales, Mexico. It rained alot, but we did have 1 beautiful day where we went snorkeling and saw the 2nd largest reef and lots of beautiful fish. We got to ride on a catamarran to get there, which was fun. We also went on 10 ziplines above the jungle and got to swim in an open water cenote which was beautiful. We went on a bike ride to town with a guide and got some souvenirs for the kids. It was a beautiful week celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Rick loved practicing his spanish with all of the people there and Ive even started learning again so that I can speak more next time. The kids enjoyed fall break this week, they went ice skating, and to the main event to play arcade games, went to the movies and had lots of fun without Mom and Dad being home. Ashlyn took her dental assisting test and passed! Wahoo! Abby bore her testimony for the 3rd straight month, she's on a roll. The bishop keep teasing her that she'll be giving a talk soon...we will see. We came home to lots of rain, it seems to have followed us home. Haley went up into the mountains to see the changing leaves and the dogs had fun exploring in the snow. We sure miss her!

Week in Review...
I got my hair done on Friday, look at how pretty!
We had a baby shower this last week at school, and one of my co-workers made these adorable cookies! So cute!
My parents and the Whittles went to a pumpkin patch, look at how cute!
Ashlyn did Abby's hair so cute this week!
We got Salad N Go this weekend, their frozen lemonade is so yummy!
Abby cleaned the bathroom and was so proud, she took a pic!
This weekend was General Conference, and it was really good. One of the talks talked about how our testimonies shouldn't be temporary. I loved that! There were some very passionate speakers, and I felt the spirit. It was amazing what the kids were able to glean from their messages as well. Even when I didn't think they were listening, they were able to comment on their talks. It was also the first time in a long time that they didn't announce any new temples. President Nelson's funeral will be on Tuesday. We should hear the announcement of the next Prophet on Thursday. Rick and I are off to Puerto Morales tomorrow. It should be a fun fall break. The kids have activities they're going to do, and hopefully they'll be nice to each other. Their main goal is to make sure that Abby eats. Wish us all luck!

weeks in review...
Cute Abby, a few years ago with our neighbor Caleb...
Last weekend, Ashlyn and Jacob went to our ward's campout, and they had fun!
Ashlyn got to give me a teeth cleaning!
Abby made a board game for a school project, way to go Abby!
Grandma and Grandpa Hahn sent us some Cold Stone ice cream for Ashlyn's graduation! So yummy!
Jacob had his first asthma injection 2 weeks ago, and he did great. He will go again this week. It is helping him out a lot. Our Prophet, President Nelson, passed away last night. He was 101 years old. He was a great man who was young at heart. He was a great leader, very compassionate and understanding. He will be missed. It was also my oldest brother Ronny's birthday yesterday. He's a great guy, too. Love my family!
